On reflection. Damian and Tony driving around Paris and ghosting the river cruise was nothing short of miraculous, Paris hotels good but airport located. Good Paris guide. The boat 'Botticcelli' was brilliant with excellent communications, food and drink. Side trips good but we had reservations about the generous amount of free time at Eiffel Tower and Versailles.

Highlight was the two coach drivers who were very friendly, extremely helpful, very professional, informative, worked well together, clearly enjoyed their job; they looked after everyone and genuinely cared about their passengers. They should win an award for their excellent customer service. The excursions were also well planned. The food was exceptional. The ships crew were exceptional (on the Ms Princess Seine). We had good weather, very sunny, luckily. The return feeder coach was challenging (5 hours on a packed shearings coach without a rest break to get a drink) but other than that Mum and I had a fab holiday.

The coach journey down to Stop 24 was a bit arduous, but the rest of the journey was very comfortable and well executed. The river Seine trip was fantastic, the food on board was very good and the wine and drinks flowed all day. Loved the sites we visited, had a great guide (Martine) who showed us around Paris. The Calvados distillery vied was interesting but could have been substituted for something more interesting,e.g the Bayeux Tapestry which was close by. Had we realised earlier we could have fitted in a visit ti the Versailles Palace as well as the gardens. The coach drivers were very attentive and looked after us well.

All staff were excellent, the food “out of this world” absolutely wonderful. All place’s visited were interesting and varied, something to suit everyone. Our feeder coach was luxurious, only three seats across giving plenty of room, video screens in back of seats and luxurious seating. Sadly our coach for the rest of holiday was very standard class. But the drivers were excellent, so kind to my companion who had a health problem My main gripe is the single surcharge. I see it as a tax on the bereaved. A situation I did not choose. I hope this helps.

Cruising is a relaxing way to travel. Drinks package included was a bonus Unhappy by the lack of guided excursions on this trip. Excellent drivers.

Cruise was good but could have been better organised. Seine Princess was a nice boat but no choice of food. set menu only but did give me salad as i have a fish allergy. Coach travel and hotels were abismal. Dumped in Paris with no map or suggestions. Drivrs non communicative. Not value for money with Leger. Could have been so good with a bit of consideration for the clients.

The holiday from the outset was a disorganised blunder in many respects. Firstly the silver service coach was downgraded the day before departure with an executive coach, (£75 pp refund) with the assurance of equal service quality, this service being water sales only, with a continued rushed timetable and the intimation that the river boat would leave its mooring before we arrived if late. Congeniality with Leger staff was not present and in some cases presented itself in a unfriendly way. The coach suffered problems and did not fulfill the excursion timetable of the clients and to one’s amazement found the trips at the end of the so called relaxing holiday were condensed into a very short space of time, inadequate to enjoy a comfortable appreciation of those important venues and this excluded a visit to the Calvados experience. Frankly the itinerary was a disaster. These issues have been addressed with Leger by an elected client

due to the couch breakdown the holiday was not exactly as planned.we enjoyed the river cruise but we never received what we paid for.this was no fault of the ledger crew who tried their best in unfortunate circumstances.everything what could have gone wrong happened on this holiday.

Good holiday apart from attitude of our 2 main drivers who were a married couple and appeared not to understand some of the company's own rules. Passengers understood there is no hot food allowed on bus but they would not even allow cold sandwiches and kept parading up and down the bus checking this was not happening and even telling those off who dared to open a cold sandwich. They even tried to make passengers guilty if they needed to use the on-board toilet this resulted in some passesngers who had health issues feeling very anxious during the journey. This was a bus of elderly passengers who were being treated like a bus full of school children. The cold sandwich rule was not an issue on any of the transfer buses. I have travelled abroad on busses for over 2 decades and this is the 2nd year in a row that the drivers attitude towards passengers has had a negative impact on passengers holiday experience I say this in the knowledge that the majority of passengers travelling on this bus were not happy with the drivers attitude. I would appreciate some contact from ledger on this review to discuss in further detail.

Cruise was mostly geared towards the French travellers. Ship was in need of a serious upgrade. Coach very comfortable drivers had some negative comments. Paid for door to door personal car service which turned out to be shared, local taxi would have been more comfortable and better value for money. Don’t think I will use Leger again.
