I have just come back from this trip and absolutely loved it . Our drivers were Dave and Chris who , were brillent from start to finish not only as drivers but as our hosts and always on hand to offer any advice and help and always with a smile ! They alone for me made this trip ! The itinerary is pretty packed and I would stress this is a tour not a holiday as such. 14 days visiting 8 countries , there are at times longer periods on the road and some early mornings and periods of extended walking with the guide but, as long as that’s acceptable that’s on the programme , then the entire package is all worth it. The hotels were very comfortable and most evenings a varied buffet menu available. Some hotels were nearer than others to a particular city visting which, did mean a little longer spent on the coach getting into a city centre . The City’s of Prague , Budapest and Vienna are of particular stunning beauty and along with visits to Berlin , Krakow and Warsaw , this is an amazing adventure . I would also add the visit to Ashwitz was of-course very moving and difficult to do but I’m glad I did it . The local guides also make the trip so much more interesting in sharing there extensive knowledge. In summery , given the extensive itinerary , the miles covered , the number of overnight hotels stays , and the ferry crossings,I thought everything ran very smoothly and was very well organised from start to finish . The online booking process is also very straightforward in completing. If you’d like to explore the Highlights of “Eastern Europe “ and some wonderful imperial cities then this Tour has it all .
