Excellent holiday. Very intensive travelling, not go feint hearted, as multiple cities visited. The crew were excellent drivers, I felt very safe. Some of the hotels weren’t as good, but overall a good holiday

Drivers didn't go all-out just did what they had too. The second day was a very long day 14 hours travelling maybe rejigging of the itinerary is needed. Some hotels very outdated. But overall experience well worth it if you want to see the main sites of Italy.

Perfect holiday to discover beautiful Italy. It was our second holiday with Leger and Dave and shaun did an excellent job, looking after us all. We'd recommend the company every time.

The holiday could have been excellent if it had been organised better, The main hotels where we stayed the longest needed to be of better quality and service as they were poor not what people would expect if staying awhile, The coach and staff were not up to the standard on a Luxuria coach which we paid extra for and expected as i have experienced far better on my previous experiences with yourselves, The coach had no hot water or any air conditioning for the whole of the holiday and were not informed until on route, this needed to be sorted as it was like this on the previous holiday and was going out again the next day still faulty which i was informed, As far as the drivers go i got the impression that George and Joan were on their holidays as a couple, not sure who arranged the time schedule but the day that we went to Rome which we were really excited about we were asked to leave at 3-45pm to rush back to a terrible hotel with not even a nice town to spend any time in whilst waiting for dinner, the meal was terrible which just made that day worse we should have had more time in Rome as it was very busy being it a Sunday, George was very pleasant but did almost all the driving not sure if this was safe where as before it was shared, i could go on even more but think this is enough and i will have to give some serious thought before considering another trip with yourselves which is a shame as i really enjoyed my previous holidays.

Several poor family-run hotels in Italy, in particular Villa Laura in Fiuggi. Isolated locations. No or little food choices. Meat and one veg. No rice or potatoes. Salad just lettuce leaves in one hotel. DIY porterage in some instances. Brisk half-hour+ walks to central tourist locations before any sightseeing/guided walks, which many on tour found challenging, yet Leger's 'physical rating' on this trip is given as 'low'. Issues on Luxuria coach - no hot drinks and no aircon throughout trip. Same coach with same problems on same trip to Italy a couple of months before in the summer. Issues could easily be resolved by sending British reps (not local ones) to review hotels and their food provision to ensure a decent standard, ensuring coaches are in good working order before departure and pre-advising that the 'physical rating' is moderate rather than 'low'. In addition, advice that passengers endure lengthy drives. One day our driver George drove us nearly all of the 627 miles in one day. A massive distance, risky perhaps and exhausting for all on board. On the plus side, we saw a great deal of Italy and are now in recovery from an extremely energetic trip. Photos of shabby Villa Laura exterior, view of mould from bathroom window and bedroom shutters that wouldn't open. Another hotel bedroom looked out onto the side of another building a few feet away.

Hotels were dated and food from the 1960s. Tours took too long to get to. The destinations were fabulous but too far away from the hotels having to get up at 5.30 -6.00am and not getting back until 6 - 8pm is tiring and ridiculous. Not given information about meal times. On the buffet meals items were not labelled so having to guess what you may be eating so stuck to salads. Food was cold. The Luxuria coach had no air conditioning working. The water boiler not working. Some guests could not keep up with the guides and had to turn back. The only good thing was the other guets whom we met. The hotels on the first and last night you had to buy your own meals. Surely your holiday starts as soon as you board the coach from home. Apparently not with Leger. Will not use again. This was an expensive holiday when you add in the 'optional excursions' and the extra meals

Three star hotels are low quality than you would expect. Our tour guides on this holiday were not always available , I have not had this problem on previous leger holidays .

Very good crew. Saw an amazing amount of Italy. As we had been to Venice several times before, we took the paddle steamer around lake Garda instead. The hotels were good apart from two, which were not up to normal Luxuria standard. However, a very enjoyable holiday, with a great deal fitted in.

The trip itself is great. Lots of long days and walking , but you get to see a huge amount. Downside is hotel in Fiuggi, Leger really ought to stop using it, both rooms and food very much under par.

Not all hotels were acceptable standard.

The tour tried to cover too much. Sorrento was a step too far. Could then stay at a hotel North of Rome and reduce the distance traveled from lake Garda. Hotels, except for Hotel Verdi in Fiuggi, should stop using that. Food was too limited in choice & seemed like the bare minimum they could get away with.

The chosen locations were amazing but the travel to and from was exhausting. Could of done with shorter travel between the hotels. Some were 12 hour days because of the travel. The hotels were good. Good food and the rooms were nice. Views were breathtaking around the hotels. Our drivers, Mark and Dave, were amazing. Always going out of their way to help and kept us entertained on the long journeys. Would definitely recommend this holiday.

Most of the hotel were a let down, it seems the price of the holiday has risen and the quality of the hotels have of low standards, once instance is the food, you take what your given or go without, only one hotel gave a minimum choice and all the others didn't, also some of the rooms were very poor. My highlight was the Coach drivers Mike & Steve, very very entertaining and would go a mile to help, eleven out for ten for them two.

First coach tour, but what a tour! Stunning views, comfortable coach and our drivers were simply the best.

Brilliant. The first 2 days travelling are long. But worth it! A whirlwind tour of Italy. The hotels were acceptable for 3 star. Good breakfast mostly. Dinner menu as expected for a tour group. On the whole excellent holiday. Mike & Steve were absolutely superb.
