Coach comfortable, drivers exceptional,
Fellow passengers really good company. Hotels largely a disappointment.
Cal dune resort was awful, five days here, huge dining room cross between motorway service station and school dinners. Serve yourself buffet not very good, nowhere else to eat in local vicinity as the resort is fairly isolated. No indoor lounge area just an outdoor bar with hard seats. Functional cabins, extremely hard bed and minimal bed linen. Good shower but loo flushed with hot water. The whole resort was not right for the Leger demographic, more suited to families wanting a beach holiday.
The best of the holiday was two nights at Lake Garda, comfy hotel with great staff.
Very long days on the coach, only to be expected considering the distances we covered.
The drivers Mel and Georgie were fabulous and worked extremely hard. They were driving on difficult mountain roads with really unsuitable diversions and coped magnificently.
Would we go again with Leger. No we wouldn’t, a luxury coach is very good but you need at least comfortable hotels to got with it. I think scant attention is paid by Leger to accommodation. Looking at the reviews prior to sending customers to Caldune resort would have told them all they needed to know
