Difficult to understand the operator and when i received my confirmation the start date was wrong . I phoned back to alter the start date i was told i have to phone back in 24 hours .

I have now had a chance to review the interaction and the explanation for this in its simplest form is because you contacted us to make a change on the same day you made the payment, it was still showing as pending.
When this happens, there are 3 possible routes to resolution. Calling us back in 24 hours is one of them.
I appreciate that this may have been an inconvenience and i apologise if that is the case. Our agents are restricted from making changes to a policy where the payment hasnt yet been processed. It will have processed overnight and ive arranged a call back for you tomorrow - this is the reason for contacting us again in 24 hours.
They should be able to facilitate the change of start date requested tomorrow. If you have any further problems, please contact us at leisureguard@rockinsurance.com.

The lady i dealt with was quite helpful and dealt with my inquiry very well. What shocked me was extra premium i had to pay on top of what I'd payed previously. On the basis of that, won't be insuring with Leisure guard again.

I have now had time to investigate your case and while i cannot disclose any personal or policy information on the public domain, i can see that the amendment requested was to upgrade your policy from Europe only as a territorial limit, to Worldwide excluding USA, Canada, Caribbean & Mexico.
The additional amount quoted on top of what you had already paid represents the additional cover available now that you have successfully upgraded your policy.
I note that your policy amendment has now been made and i am grateful that you chose to continue your association with Leisure Guard for your travel insurance needs. I hope that we have the opportunity to demonstrate the value of that decision and hopefully negotiate a renewal when that time comes.

I suggest that instead of having to list the countries you are visiting you do as other insurance companies do and make Europe one destination
