Customer Support is non existent

Was trying to order 12 docking stations for our staff. Cannot order online more than 5, tech support says we not allowed to give you invoices. I asked why, they say they don't know. Also no options to pay buy bank transfer.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. I ordered a 5G tablet, but got the non 5G model. Lenovo mistake, not mine so I asked could they send the correct model. They said best they can do is cover the cost of me sending back the incorrect one, refunding me fully and then ne ordering a new one. Ie order another 5G, be sent the incorrect one again. Tablet was returned, and ill be going for a brand other than Lenovo. Lost a customer and I highly suggest others avoid Lenovo because of their atrocious customer service, especially when Lenovo screwed up

DO NOT BUY FROM LENOVO.IE

I was looking for a replacement laptop and went to PC Mag, who recommended a particular high-end Lenovo. Just what I was looking for: 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD HD, good graphics card, OLED touch screen, you name it. A bit pricy (even with the E300+ discount on offer) and the delivery date was 10 days out. This was a bit too long for my needs, but I liked the specs a lot, so decided i could wait. I placed the order.

Two days later the two accessories i had ordered arrived, but no laptop. puzzeled, i clicked on the order info link and to my horror, I saw that the 'estimated' delivery date was well over a month out. I entered into the WhatsApp chat and eventually was communincating with a human. When i explained my woes, the human waved a magic wand and the ship and delivery date were reinstated (but not on the web interface.)

Fine, I wated until the shippping date and reached out on WhatsApp again. Same process, communicated with Human 2, who assured me that the laptop was out for delivery and that I would receive an email with the updated information.

The next morning i did receive the email. The subject read 'delayed delivery date' and we were back to the original very delayed delivery date.

I left it another day expecting a positive update and then cancelled the order. I found the same laptop, albeit E100 more expensive, but still E200 below the RRP, with an Irish retailer promising 6-7 days delivery time. I ordered it. It was dispatched the next day and I fully expect it to arrive tomorrow - total of 2 days.

Do not buy Lenovo laptops

I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 14IMH9 about 6 months ago and thought I'd leave a review to warn others off. This laptop has been a pain in my backside since it arrived. Functionality I had on my previous laptop is no longer available. Hardware randomly stops working. Software randomly stops working. I really wish I'd made the effort to document the daily foibles which make the machine such a chore to use. Anyway, when I move on to my next PC, I will not be choosing Lenovo.

Steer well clear

I ordered a phone. I received an email the next day telling me there was a delay and that I could cancel the order if I wanted. There was no mention of how long the delay would be, so I cancelled the order and ordered the phone from another site. 12 hours later I received an email to say the phone had been shipped. I requested a return immediately and was sent a label to attach to the box to return it. I posted the phone with the label attached as soon as it arrived. The phone was delivered to the Dublin warehouse and that's where the trail went dead. I am still waiting for my refund over 9 weeks later.
From Dublin the phone had to be delivered to the main warehouse in the Netherlands. It took five weeks to get there. It took so long I suspect it was delivered on foot.
Three weeks ago, I was told the phone was in the Netherlands and my refund would be issued in 7-10 working days. I was told this morning, that it had been scanned into the system last week and the refund would take another 5-7 days after that.
This is by far the worst service I have ever encountered. And it all started with an email informing me that there was a delay with my order, when there was really no delay at all.
The email address for complaints is a black hole. I don’t think it's monitored. The online chat takes forever. The only way of getting any information from them at all is to phone them. Even then, I have no confidence that I am getting accurate information.

The absolute worst company I have ever…

The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with.
I purchased a laptop at a good deal on the black friday sales.
3 weeks later it arrived broken.
I ordered a replacement.
It took 3 days to get a feckin return label.
I sent it back and for the next 7 weeks heard absolutely nothing. Contacted support multilpe times but noone even tried to help or explain.
Finally after 11 weeks in total I got an email to say the replacement was being processed.
Two days later I got an email to say the replacement has been canceled.
Back onto cunstomer service being bounced around for ages and eventually I found out they had no parts so were sending me a refund.
I asked could I get a similar quality laptop for the same price I paid 11 weeks earlier. "No, full price".
Today I still have not even received my refund.
Over 11 weeks since I paid for a laptop and I have no laptop and no refund with zero help or explanation from anyone who works for Lenovo.
A complete and utter sham.
Buy something else

Bought an Idea Tab at far better value…

Bought an Idea Tab direct at far better value than anywhere else, and it was delivered the next day (actually less than 12 hours after ordering). Having dealt with so many tech companies of this size operating in Ireland, they really stand out as one of the better ones from my (albeit singular) experience. I can't fault them for anything. Great price, product, insanely quick delivery, and good customer service.

My Ideapad arrived with Windows 11 corrupts and conflicting anti virus software installed - have not used it and despite several hours contacting Lenovo I cannot speak to technical support directly to get a "Dead on Arrival" letter before they will accept it back.

Horrible service

I had a terrible experience with Lenovo’s service. I bought and paid for a gaming monitor that turned out to be out of stock. Every time I contacted them, I was promised it would arrive within 10 days, but that never happened. They couldn’t give me a clear answer about when it would be back in stock or when I could expect delivery. Completely unhelpful and frustrating. Horrible experience – never again.

No Support for laptop

ThinkPad failing but can't get any support. Logged a ticket about a month ago and it's showing as 'Customer Action' - but I've not heard anything about me needing to take any action.

Support opening times on their web site are inconsistent, no email address, WhatsApp is just a generic automated response system, phone response is "we're not open - it's a public holiday" (it's not). Very poor service. Although I now see an email address on this Trustpilot page... I might try that and see how far I get.

Complete Joke of a company
Ordered a high end PC for my business - not some cheap laptop. Said it would be 6-9 days - fair enough.
Received part of the order (monitor) then after 7 days told my PC order was cancelled - NO REASON GIVEN. But they still charged for the monitor!
Called, chatted etc etc - no reason given told to re-order online but they cant say that it wont be cancelled again - probably because a specific part not available - well dont sell it to me if you wont have the parts - duh!!
Don't waste your time trying to give them money!

Appalling delivery and customer service

Clearly no change from other reviews. My wife ordered a high spec Yoga laptop. It has sat in Irish customs for 2 weeks and neither a Lenovo or UPS have any interest in resolving the issue. Apparently Lenovo have used a bulk shipping process and all items have to be cleared through customs before each order can be delivered. As the bundle has already entered the EU through Germany it must have cleared customs already. Lenovo and US take days/weeks to reply and then just with platitudes. The money was deducted from our credit card 3 weeks ago.

Avoid buying from them

Purchased a product for my daughter for…

Purchased a product for my daughter for Christmas 2024, on opening Christmas morning the screen was faulty. Emailed Lenovo via an email they had previously communicated through but am still awaiting a reply. Then their online returns facility at the last page informed me that the product I had purchased couldn't be retuned. Rang on the 7-01-2025 requesting a replacement and that an email confirming my contact would be sent. Offered an apology and that a concession on the purchase price would be given in a refund - still awaiting both. Rang again on the 10-01-2025, all the above confirmed and the returns email would be sent within 24 to 48hrs - still awaiting this. Rang on the 15-01-2025 due to a lack of communication by Lenovo, finally got an email that just stated it would take 2 to 3 further days to supply me with details of the return. Website is a joke, customer service does not exist, people appear to be paid for employment but what work is actually being done. I have never experienced anything like it, if you tried to get things this wrong I don't think it could be possible. It has been the poorest retail experience I have ever had. Lenovo Ireland, hang your heads in shame. This is gas, trustpilot have an email address for Lenovo to send review too that is not advertised by Lenovo for customers to use, what are Lenovo at?

Unbelievably Poor - Do not recommend

Extremley unstable website which makes it a monumental struggle to even place an order. Consistent mulitple error codes encountered over several days when trying to place an order. Cancellation process is beyond belief. Cancellation process takes 3 - 5 days so your order will be shipped even if you file one immediately after an order. Hardware is shipped from China which doesn't increase hope for warranty or aftersales support.

Can not recommend purchasing anything from Lenovo

Does that surprise me at this point? Not in the slightest. Read on for original review and issue: Lenovo is the biggest joke company I've dealt with in a while. The monitor hasn't arrived due to a shipping mishap and I've just received an email asking to review it? After reaching out to customer service various times to ascertain the whereabouts of the monitor for weeks, I was lied to, misled, ignored and finally, supposedly, being refunded. A refund which I have yet to see. I spoke with a supervisor and asked whet they could do for me to remedy the situation, namely no monitor for my daughter's 7th Christmas and only 8 days before Christmas, and they offered me a 15% discount off my next purchase, on top of that, the promised 15% coupon never arrived, which is in keeping with all the other empty promises made by them. Do Lenovo seriously think I'll ever be buying from them again after this experience ?? This was my first and last experience with Lenovo based on the terrible shipping service, terrible customer service and the icing on the cake; being asked to review a product I never received. It's a pity I didn't read the reviews here before buying.

Steer clear. They're clueless.

By far the worst experience I've ever had purchasing a machine.

Placed an order for a Z13 which was on sale for €919 (reduced from €2k+) on the 24th of November, said it would be shipped in 6-9 days. The 6-9 days passed, so I contacted Customer Service who flat out had no idea what was going on with my order. After days of back and forth with Customer Service (where it had been escalated numerous times to a manager who was just flat out not replying to me) I was given verbal commitment of shipping date of the 11th of December - happy days right? Wrong. 11th of December came and went. Contacted on the 12th - escalated again, no update, no information on the laptop. Contacted again on the 13th, same again, no update on when the laptop would be shipped. At this time, the frustration really seeped in. Today I contacted again, finally I got a response. Lenovo cancelled my order, blamed it on my bank (for some bizarre reason) - said that they'll price match if I order the laptop again at full price (so I'll pay the full €2k for something I was originally going to pay €919 for) and they'd refund the difference after a set period of time.

Oh by the way, on Tuesday, they were offering the very same laptop I had bought (which initially, on the 24th, had a banner saying it ships between 6-9 days) with a shipping banner guaranteeing 1-2 day dispatch on their website! Isn't that convenient! Cancelling an order that was placed during a sale, only to relist the item at the original price and promise faster shipping? We shall see what the CCPC have to say about that.

THINKPAD L13 SCAM Lenovo Case 2015428370

Let me share my recent situation: I was so excited when I bought my Lenovo ThinkPad laptop. It was sleek, fast and powerful. I thought it would last me for years. But then, one day, I got a notification from Lenovo that it required an urgent firmware update. I trusted them and clicked OK. Big mistake.
The update messed up my charging port USB-C. It stopped charging my laptop. I tried the other USB-C port and it worked, but only for a while. Then Lenovo sent me another firmware update. They said it would fix the problem. It didn't. It made it worse. It killed both of my charging ports.
I contacted Lenovo support and they asked me to reset my BIOS. I did that, but my charging port is still dead. Then they told me that my laptop was more than 12 months old and they couldn't fix it for free (it is 20 months old). They said it was my problem, not theirs.
I couldn't believe it. They broke my laptop with their updates and then they wanted me to pay for it? That's not fair. That's not right. That's robbery. I felt angry and frustrated, I wished I could do something to fight back.
