It's a busy day and the trains are running late which is understandable but they have managed to organise a massive traffic jam in their car park. This is just to get to customs and they haven't implemented the new procedures for entry and exit yet. For the last 2 hours the pathways were free but now we can't even get towards the entry area, hundreds of cars with their engines on for air con, looped round and round in a car park. It's been half hour without moving so far.
The customs was quick and efficient.
Then the queues on the other side were massive The car in front of us with the same booking got on a train , then we waited for 2 more trains.
3hrs late, we have the app, they said nothing.
I wouldn't bother with the app
Being busy is one thing but they have lost control of the entire order

Late departure once again. This has happened numerous times in the last few years. Not due to the new biometric system. This was due to le shuttle cancelling trains. Really worried that this will get a lot worse for our next planned trip in the summer when the biometric system is in full swing !! Also, such a shame that le shuttle don’t offer a frequent traveller discount or a discount if you book a return ticket.

So easy to check in, pass through both sets of customs, loading is very well organised and it's great to be able to drive off at the other side of the channel and get on your way immediately, having done the customs bit before loading.Great experience.Staff were really helpful and it was lovely to be offered an earlier crossing without having to ask for it.

This is the only way to travel to Europe had a stress free crossing through the customs quickly and loaded almost immediately even took an earlier train and 28 mins crossing fully recommend this service informed throughout the process

The 'relative' ease of boarding ..... normally !
I say 'normally' as the French employees on the English side, seemed to be being awkward. They stopped us from boarding, saying our vehicle was too large, after letting an Audi Q7 board, which is virtually the same size as our BMW ! They then let numerous motor bikes board and we had to catch the next train !!! We were delayed 30 minutes on the return trip, no explanation.
