Avoid this scammy website at all costs!

I had a terrible experience with Lespassionez. I ordered a perfume worth €160 on December 16, 2024, to be delivered to a Mondial Relay locker. When I went to pick it up, I discovered that the carrier had made a mistake and I received someone else’s package instead.

I immediately contacted the seller and asked them to open a claim with the carrier. They acted like they didn’t know how to handle the situation and told me to deal with the carrier myself. I contacted the carrier, who confirmed that only the sender can open a claim — not the recipient.

I had to follow up multiple times with the seller, and each time they pretended not to remember who I was or what my issue was, saying they needed to “look into my case.” After I threatened legal action, they finally promised to send me a replacement as soon as possible. That was eight months ago — I never heard from them again.

After a month of silence, I opened a PayPal dispute, but PayPal rejected it because I hadn’t filed the claim immediately after receiving the wrong package. I then realized the seller had deliberately wasted time until the PayPal dispute deadline expired.

This company is completely dishonest, offers zero customer service, and clearly plays tricks to avoid refunds or replacements. Save yourself the frustration and stay far away from this website.

Dishonest business practices

I had a disappointing experience with Les Passionez due to their misleading marketing and lack of transparency. They advertised a "Mystery Scent" as an extreme gourmand, but upon receiving Praline Caviari by Qasar, it turned out to be a floral fragrance with no gourmand notes. Despite multiple inquiries, the owner refused to disclose whether Qasar is their in-house brand, raising concerns about legitimacy. Additionally, they falsely claimed the fragrance was a best-seller in Europe before its release, then later contradicted this by stating it had yet to be marketed. A search across fragrance platforms and social media revealed no trace of Qasar or this fragrance outside of Les Passionez, making it evident that key details were intentionally concealed.

Beyond the misrepresentation, their handling of returns was unacceptable. Their stated policy offers refunds for unopened products returned within 14 days, yet when customers requested refunds, they were denied and offered only store credit. Worse, Les Passionez later claimed that their return policy only applies within France and does not extend to international buyers, forcing customers to pay costly return shipping with no guarantee of a refund. Their refusal to honor their own policies and lack of transparency make them an unreliable retailer, and I cannot recommend purchasing from them.
