Trustpilot are making it difficult for parents & students to post reviews on this site, even after producing evidence wasting everybody's time. I started working in education after leaving the fire service in 2014 (16 years service). Online lessons run for 50 - 70 minutes at £15.00 per pupil. I work online with vulnerable, disadvantaged, disengaged & bullied teenagers 14-16 refusing school & mainstream education. Lessons in criminology & crime help pupils improve their reading, writing, listening, speaking & critical thinking skills. Teenagers in the above category are extremely keen to learn & discuss the different types of crime and theories on why people commit them. Online lessons in Criminology & crime has learning elements of GCSE subject areas i.e. English (speaking, reading, listening, writing, critical thinking), science (biology, physiology, psychology), geography (laws in different countries), cultural learning (laws in different cultures), sociology (social response to crime & social construction of crime) & media research (film, music, news). We also look at criminal law (reading case studies). Homework is included. £15.00 per pupil. To make online education affordable, pupils can find a class buddy. Option 1: Online lesson = £15 for one pupil Option 2: Online lesson with a class buddy = £20 for 2 pupils (£10 per parent / parents) Option 2 saves each parent / parents £5 per lesson. Choosing option 2 means both pupils must be present for their lesson. Their time can not be split or divided into two separate lessons. I'm learning English with Gabriel

I'm learning English with Gabriel. I like to talk about the subject more than reading many sentences. Criminology lessons are good for me because it is more discussion with images which I like. English lessons in crime B1 and B2 is more reading with questions. Gabriel mixes my lessons for me. Sometimes, my lessons are more than 60 minutes. For example 75 or 80 minutes.

My son no longer attends school due to inadequate safeguarding

My son who no longer attends school due to the inadequate safeguarding from bullies over the past year, is enjoying his online lessons. It was difficult at first to get my son to focus on some form of education. I didn't want him sitting at home all day doing nothing (I work from home). He was refusing to study the curriculum & when I tried to encourage him, tantrums & threatening to run away worried me. I had to come up with ideas and remembered a while back my son asking me why do people commit crime (there was something on TV about people & crime). I spoke to my son about studying crime and was happy to see how keen he was to go forward with this idea. I found Gabriel on the internet through Find Tutors (I think I Googled criminology or crime online tutors for 15 year old teenagers). I contacted Gabriel & lessons started within a week. I would like to point out that this very early stage, Gabriel's lessons are more visual (images) & discussion based with occasional multiple choice questions. Gabriel informed me lessons become more powerpoint based with more text later along the line. I sit in with my son during his online lessons, which even I find interesting! His first lesson, white collar crime surprised my son. He stated these people in a power of position are supposed to be role models. But instead they steal millions pounds or millions of dollars for themselves without considering how it would affect their victims who might have less. This was a breath of fresh air (and a huge relief) when my son made this statement, showing how much interest & attention he paid during his first lesson.

Gabriel is alright as a tutor

Gabriel is alright as a tutor. I prefer this to what I was doing at school. I like the lessons but I've never liked homework. Gabriel doesn't get annoyed like the teachers did at school if you don't submit your homework before the next lesson. I don't get treated like an idiot or talked down to during my online lessons when I don't focus. Teachers never supported or protected me at school. I still have PTSD from the physical bullying at school and Gabriel let's me talk about this during my lessons when he see's I'm not focusing. He doesn't get angry when I use bad language when I talk about the boys who bullied me at school. Gabriel was physically bullied at school, so he totally gets it.

Removed my daughter from Sunbury Manor School

I took my daughter out of school before the end of the summer holidays of 2024 due to the continuous verbal / physical bullying & the school failing to protect her (Sunbury Manor School). Bullies run rife at this school & the education is terrible. She is now being home educated. My daughter who's now 15 has always talked about studying crime. I found Gabriel & we started lessons almost immediately.

Plans to study crime at college

My daughter enjoys studying crime & plans to study this subject at college next year. On occasions, lessons have run for 80 minutes because daughter & tutor are deep in conversation discussing the subject matter. Brilliant!

Great seeing my daughter engage in a subject of interest

My daughter stopped attending school at 15 for a multitude of reasons (which I won't go into). I wanted to get her into some form of studying at home & the usual subjects was a definite no. I was browsing the internet for ideas & came across Gabriel's profile via Find Tutors. It's great to see my daughter enjoy her online lessons with Gabriel. We have discussions about what she's learnt after her online lesson!

Interesting lessons

My daughter started online lessons a few weeks back and enjoys what she's learning. It's all she talks about! We do homework together (don't tell Gabriel) which is interesting because it also educates me about issues I never really think about.

Great lessons

I started online lessons with Gabriel in August. He teaches lessons which are not all crime. I like the variety of subjects. Today my lesson was on euthanasia / assisted suicide.

Online Lessons

My son has been studying online with Gabriel for some months now. It's interesting to see my son take a keen interest in this subject, due to him performing poorly at school & taking no interest in other subjects. My son engages well with Gabriel & have never seen him so keen to do homework!
