Steer clear of this group it's a money making scam, only out for the profit such a disgusting attitude to people

This company appears to have ceased trading under Lets Move Legal and was trading under Lets Move Conveyancing. They are not Lets Move Conveyancing and are now no longer responding to emails or phone calls.

This company seem to use a third party- ERIC SMITH LAW.
We got quoted a good price from Let’s Move, as first time buyers, we thought we’d done a brilliant job finding someone cheap who seem to have 5* reviews.
Our details were passed to the above mentioned ERIC SMITH LAW and we were assigned a solicitor to the name of Ms Simone Joseph.
Everything seemed fine in the first instance, apart from not being able to call the office and taking a couple of days to get back to emails etc. Once again, as first time buyers, we thought this was just normal for solicitors.
We sent back all information requested by Simone and had no concerns at this time.
Yesterday, I received an email saying they wouldn’t be able to claim back our ISA payments due to their insurance running out as the business was closing on the 15th December, we had no knowledge of this ever being the case. Simone simply stated we couldn’t have our money back as the searches they had done weren’t free (money was supposed to be held on account until completion and we previously had conversations with let’s move who informed us in the case of no completion, we would be able to get our money back). Simone said she wouldn’t be monitoring her emails for much longer and that we had to find a new solicitor quickly so she could send our information over to the new solicitors.
In hindsight, it’s a good thing that we didn’t continue using this solicitor as our new solicitor found several planned amendments in our file that state they were going to add charges on top of what they had already quoted!
I sincerely hope you do not use these solicitors

I used this company for services to buy a house earlier this year. Soon after they had taken money from me I was farmed out to a solicitors called Eric Smith law ltd who have proven themselves to be absolute incompetent and extremely unprofessional. I could not get in contact with anyone at this law firm for nearly a month with nobody answering calls or emails despite trying daily. I found this to be the same with let’s move legal group who are also terrible with communication and never answer the phone or emails. The whole experience was made extremely stressful unnecessarily and then when we finally got to the completion date they demanded more money from me despite having given me a ‘final quote’ which I had already paid.
Since then I have had letters from HMRC demanding that I pay a land registration fee that they were meant to have paid. After emailing months ago to make it clear this needs to be paid I was told over email that it would be sorted as soon as possible. I am still receiving letters and now and nobody is replying to my emails. I have never experienced such a bad service before and I would strongly suggest that anybody who is thinking of using them for any form of service avoids them like the plague. Absolutely appalling service.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY, IF THEY EVEN EXIST. I PAID (& LOST) £269 DEPOSIT ON THE UNDERSTANDING THEY WOULD UNDERTAKE THE CONVEYANCING FOR A RECENT HOUSE MOVE BUT THEY DID NOTHING AT ALL, JUST TOOK MY MONEY. IF I COULD GIVE THEM NO STARS AT ALL, I WOULD.

They really need to work on their communication skills.

Promises were not kept, and I wasted 2 months of my home buying process completely clueless about the fact the the solicitor they assigned me had been removed from the lender's panel.

No one warned me and thanks to my mortgage adviser I found out about that and this company even dared telling me to find a new solicitor myself!

Don't instruct this company. Absolute con. Can never get hold of them. Delays process by months. Poor communication ( impossible to reach via phone. ) I had 5 different conveyancers looking after our purchase and all left. Was told numerous times to instruct another solicitor despite having paid them over £500 already. 20 weeks in to a no chain purchase, 2 weeks away from completion and they told us to instruct a new solicitor. Mental. Do NOT instruct them. You will regret it! They are clueless from the get go as well, so don't expect your initial quote to be anywhere near the final figure. Eric Smith and Let's Move Legal Group need to be shut down.

Impossible to communicate with. Took deposit in double-quick time, but then became non-existent. Most definitely NOT recommended.

I would not recommend this company
Communication is extremely poor and the service is diabolical
They are very quick to part you with your cash but trying to communicate with them is virtually impossible
They are basically a referral service
I am considering an official complaint with the ombudsman
So be warned
