Lex arrived on time and put 2 large…

Lex arrived on time and put 2 large electric blinds and 4 smaller manual ones in a couple of hours. All as ordered and very nice. Excellent installers who were very clean and tidy (the residue from the drilling barely hit the floor when it was hoovered up!) No hesitation in recommending Lex Blinds as i too was told by a friend
who was also pleased with the job they did for then.

Lovely Fly Screen fitted.

I had fly screen installed for my bi folding door.
The estimator was very good, polite and respectful.
The fitters were very efficient as well. They were quick, and very tidy, lovely men.
I am extremely pleased with fly screen.
It turned out even better than I thought it would.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company

We have just had our plantation blinds fitted by Lex Blinds who came highly recommended to us
Great service from start to finish and Sandra kept us well informed on delivery etc

A ruthless sales company

A ruthless sales company who badgered me daily with emails once I’d made my initial enquiry to the point that I had to ask them to stop emailing me. I arranged for a survey and contacted them back to confirm. I then got a call at 8:45am in the middle of the school run which I scrambled to answer as I thought it was a work emergency (why else would you phone someone at that time?) and it was Lex blinds confirming the appointment I had already confirmed! It’s invasive to be calling someone at this time. In the panic in the middle of the school run, I dropped my phone and it smashed. Thanks Lex blinds! Needless to say we did not proceed any further.

Our records show that you made an initial enquiry on August 21, and in order to assist you further, we requested some photos of your windows. Following up on August 23, we wanted to ensure you received our response since we hadn’t heard back from you. We then provided a quote based on the information you provided us on August 24. We followed up the next day to confirm receipt of the quote and to inquire if you would like one of our experts to conduct a survey at your location. Unfortunately, the email you sent in response indicated you were away, and its tone prompted us to close your file temporarily to avoid any further unwanted communication.

On September 14, you reached out again asking to arrange a visit from one of our surveyors. With our commitment to customer care, we immediately attempted to contact you to schedule an appointment. However, we were unable to reach you initially. Understanding that schedules can be busy, we provisionally booked you for September 25 and left a voice message asking you to confirm the date and provide additional address details needed for the visit.

The following day, on September 15, you left us a voicemail which was unfortunately muffled. Our colleague responded by calling you back to clarify the information. During this call, which unfortunately coincided with your school run, there was a misunderstanding about the timing of our contact, and you expressed significant distress. You mentioned during this call that you dropped and smashed your phone, for which we offered apologies. Despite our apologies, you communicated that you felt harassed and no longer wished to use our services, and thus ended the call abruptly. In response to your request during this call, we cancelled the appointment as per your instructions.

Subsequently, you sent us an email expressing confusion about the appointment cancellation and querying why no one had arrived for a scheduled visit. In reply, our manager clarified that the appointment had been cancelled following your express instructions on September 15 and that we could not provide compensation for the phone damage.

We are genuinely sorry for any misunderstandings and the inconvenience caused. It was never our intention to make you feel unduly pressured or to add stress to your busy schedule. As a business, we strive to uphold the highest standards of customer service.

We are perplexed by the negative review, especially given the elapsed time and our understanding that you had chosen not to proceed with our services. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this matter further with you to hopefully resolve any outstanding issues and improve our future service.

Very professional at all points

Our experience of Lex Blinds was very positive, from our first visit to the showroom, to the surveyor coming to discuss in detail the best blind options for the three different windows in our home to the fitters who came to install - and then sort out a problem very quickly. All of the staff we dealt with were highly professional and seemed genuinely motivated to the best job for us.

First time using Lex and it was with…

First time using Lex and it was with some hesitation as we had no personal recommendation. All aspects of the service and product were exceptional, it is difficult to rate one more highly than another. This was throughout from first contact to follow up following fitting. Deserve to be a very successful business.

I was really delighted with the fitting…

I was really delighted with the fitting of my electric blinds. More importantly, months later when a fault occurred they responded swiftly and then refunded the call out charge when the fail was not due to me. I really value good aftercare and that is what I received

Been using them since 2021!

I started using Lex Blinds in 2021 when I moved here. They have done my bay window blinds, bay window made to measure cushion, and every single blind in my house. Today I got fitted the yellow vertical blinds in the kitchen dinner and I am in love with them. The team has always been helpful and very friendly. Sandra has always been there when I had questions or needed variations. Definitely recommend!

Whole process was great

Whole process was great, no issues at all, even got an earlier fitting date than expected The roller blind was installed in son’s room – beautiful fabric, and provides very good blackout, my sons sleeps like a baby.

Turned out an excellent experience

we initially had troubles with Lex since we did not receive the product we thought we had agreed on and the support was poor at the time. After a less favourable review almost a year later, we were contacted by Samantha and our case was revisited by Jelena at which point all of our concerns were addressed, the blinds were replaced by zips and everything went extremely fast and smoothly. Honestly I never expected this and was very pleasantly surprised after having struggled with bad communication and errors the first time around. They seem to now have some solid customer satisfaction and remediation procedures in place and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to anyone. Somfy blinds are a game changer and I would highly recommend anyone considering external blinds to go with the zip variety since they are quiet and can be made fully blackout. Thank you to the whole team at Lex!! We love the blinds. A big thank you to the installers too for putting up with us! Those guys did an excellent job all 3 times they had to visit. Very efficient and high quality work.

Do not trust

Wasted our time and refused to install the blinds to the standard we were promised by their surveyor. I went with this company because they said they would sort the electrics and they are now refusing to.

The fitters are rude, unreliable and have very low standards - twice we have stayed home from work only for them to not show up. The first time they left and I was invoiced the blinds didn’t even work, and an unqualified fitter had rewired a socket without turning the electrics off at the mains. Do not trust this company.

I wanted to thank you for addressing the issues and letting me know what did not go right.

It was agreed that we will trunk the cabling and our electrician will hardwire the blinds.
We provided an electrician free of charge, however we were advised on site that you would like the cabling to be hidden behind the walls and unfortunately, this is not something that we provide.

Thank you for providing feedback on the fitters, it is a valuable feedback for us to work on and improve in the future, as your experience does not follow with our code of conduct. Please let me reassure you that I will investigate this further.
