Customer service was a 10/10! Every question was answered and the process was seamless! Who knew that buying a home could be so painless!!

Thomas made my first time home buying process very easy with LGI homes. Very professional, dependable, and timely in responses to questions. I couldn’t have been happier with LGI’s processes and closing cost assistance. My closing was ready in nearly only 2 weeks from the date of the first viewing of the property! Highly recommended!

DO NOT BUT A HOME FROM LGI!! House is two years old and having major plumbing issues. Cant get in contact with anyone.

Herman Romero was so helpful and patient during the home buying process. He listened to our needs and helped us to find the perfect home. I highly recommend this company. Herman Romero took so many extra steps just to make our experience easier. We had looked at other places but it was stressful and their was no personal attention. Not that I need to be catered to but a home is a big decision and those little details Herman helped with made all of the difference.

Purchased new home (Vera Cruz floor plan) March 8, 2023. ALL staff and service techs personable, friendly, accommodating, capable and efficient. Only minor warranty issues, such as touch up paint, and those attended to promptly.

2x6 construction, allowing thicker insulation, with the strength of shear walls for all exterior walls.

Justin gave us a very complete walk through of the home the Friday before closing and a follow up on the day of closing.

Process was long and tedious.
Every week a different document was needed. It was very stressful for me

I bought two houses before from a different lender. The first time I ever did it, it was fast and it was not long and drawn out as with LGI homes.

This was our first house, and Justin stay close to us through the whole process. We enjoyed every step, and we love our new home!

Everyone was very polite and professional. Everyone involved with my home buying process were very helpful and always answered my questions.

The lot that our home is on is a nice size for us. It would have been nice if they would have removed the rocks and chunks of concrete before laying sod down. There are fist sized rocks and chunks of concrete scraps under the sod. Also, the interior paint seems like a very low end paint. We will need to repaint the walls with a higher quality paint. The refrigerator that came with the house was supposed to have an ice maker. They told us that it was on backorder, but we can't find any information about it and the manufacturer does not respond to inquiries about it. This is frustrating for sure.

I love my new home and is all because of LGI's work. TYSM

Stay away from them. They are the worst builder in the Cape. You can’t even put a TV on their wall unless you put more wood, otherwise it will go down. Please don’t look at the 5⭐️ reviews. Those are people that work for them. After they build your house, it is like see you.

This was the worst place to ever look for a home. They lie to you and the communication is absolutely horrible. There only good reviews is from people working there and false things . I’ve talked to 6 agents in the past 4 years one after another making promises and never communicated back for anything. This is the worst company and have the worst agents I have ever seen. The best thing is for this place to close business because they surely confused on how to be a great company. Take my word do not waste your time with this place.

They certainly give a great speak about trust, integrity, value and being your partner through the entire process. However, if you start to ask the hard questions or want to shop around, they drop you like a hot potato. It’s been 7 days and I’m still waiting for a response to my email. LGI brokers are really out for themselves. Buyer beware and do you research.

LGI process was easy to follow. LGI sales team (Derrick) loan officer (Kevin B) were amazing from start to finish. Every question or concern was answered in a timely manner and they were always willing to help. As a first time home buyer I thought it would be a nightmare but LGI and the team made it painless as possible.

The entire experience had its ups and downs however, the build quality in some areas were shoddy.

What can we expect in this day and age though.

We closed and moved into our new build LGI Ponderosa home in Brighton Colorado on 9/26/23. All of our minor problems have been fixed promptly under our warranty but unfortunately one BIG problem has not been fixed nor can anyone seem to find a resolution for our main floor heat system. While the heat blows just fine through the vents upstairs, no heat blows through the master bedroom area vents and very little heat blows through the living room, dining room and kitchen vents. The heating techs have come here at least 6 times and have not been able to solve anything. One of the heating techs said the design of the home and the design layout of the air ducts do not go together therefore proper flow will not be achieved unless the ducts are redone. The only feedback we are getting is LGI isn't willing to do what it takes to correct our heating issue. There are 7 other Ponderosa homes like ours in this Brighton Colorado (Pierson Park) area and 5 of those homes have Sold signs on them probably unaware if their heating system works properly or not. Beware before you buy, this heating issue has our heating and electricity bill higher than normal due to constant space heaters running and using the main heater to try getting the heat to a decent level on a normal winter day, on very cold 30 and below days and nights we can forget about it our main floor is freezing!
