Pros:
Prompt in initiating contact.
Cons:
The knowledge base is outdated, easily accessible online, and they actively promote to use ChatGPT.
Coaches mostly seem like therapists rather than career experts.
Some coaches appear to be those who couldn’t find jobs themselves and have turned to coaching instead.
CV rebranding is basic, focusing too much on ATS without a deep understanding of current algorithms or hiring processes.
LinkedIn profile reviews are superficial, typically just adding a custom link, professional photo, and basic updates to the 'About' and 'Experience' sections.
Promised exclusive job leads and networking opportunities through their alumni network do not materialize.
All coaches are freelancers, often holding other non-professional jobs and using their roles to learn from their clients.
Outdated job roles are still advertised, such as old positions from Barclays.
There is no option to choose a coach suited to your specific job search needs.
The company claims to have helped over 350,000 people find jobs last year, but individual coaches refuse to provide direct statistics.
Advice on networking often involves basic instructions to use your existing network, such as searching for companies on LinkedIn and then cold messaging employees, which rarely succeeds.
The 3-month program costs your former employer around $5,200, with claims of daily job leads and networking connections that, unfortunately, just don't exist.

Terrible company!! Don’t use them not on your side. They will set you up to fail!! They took half my experience off my resume. I am getting job offers with the resume I created myself. Not to mention they are rude as hell over the phone. I cancelled every appointment they appointed me from my previous job. All of the sudden they can’t respond to my emails. Scam!!!

Waste of time. It took 3 calls for them to send me my login info to their site. My career coach has low availability, so it took me 3 weeks to get the first intro meeting scheduled. She was a no-show and forgot to send me the meeting link, and I had no way of contacting her. I saw her online on LinkedIn so I messaged her but she did not respond. I then reached out to customer service, and all they did was suggest I had technical issues on my end (it's not the first time I used Zoom; clearly the issue was them failing to provide a meeting link). I rescheduled with the career advisor for another meeting 2 more weeks out. What a waste of time. Do not waste your money or time here. They are completely useless and cause you more stress.

Not only did the recruiter ghost me, I found out that I am not eligible for unemployment, since this goes through the state of Florida and they require you to be unemployed for a year before receiving benefits.
I saw these reviews but I regarded them as simply from persons who did not get hired. Then I started getting the “run-around” by a recruiter who took at least two or more communications to get a response from. In the legal recruiting world, recruiters are highly responsive typically responding to any communication within 15-30 minutes. I got hired and had to take a couple days off for a family matter. I have worked in financial accounting besides the law. I have never seen a live first paycheck go to one of my employees. The staff only ever gets a direct deposit, and it is always on time. LHH supposedly sent a first pay as a check and it should have arrived by now according to USPS standards. Is LHH a foreign owned company or just too new to deserve a bank’s trust? Maybe. Find a another company. I had other offers and I should have taken them. Next stop, Dept of Labor.
The above statement was responded via an auto-response at 225am following the submission of the statement. Need I say more?

I was contacted by a recruiter from LHH for a position. At first, she was very responsive. I had a phone interview and then a 2nd face to face interview for the position which I thought had gone well. I have been ghosted by the recruiter. She will not answer phone calls or email. A simple "they decided to go with someone else" would have been fine but the flat out ghosting is extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

Sadly all words and little content. Lacked flexibility to adapt to disability and health problems. Churned out words when I was waiting for surgery and took very little in. A couple of seminars were viewed but not a single lead of note. They hacked up my CV and I haven't had a single positive response with the new one. I now accept I need to establish my own business due to a forced medical break as most employers avoid disabilities but pretend otherwise - it's the same with LHH only offering generic rather than tailored advice.

A recruiting company run by those who are the least competent in their field.
If you want the best candidate then look elsewhere.

I have had now three separate experiences with three recruiters in Melville. Two of the three were women and the other was a male.
I have found that the women were the absolute worse! My first experience was with a recruiter name Joy. Though she did place me with a position, she did not try to negotiate a higher salary. I even asked her to see what she could do, and she did nothing. It wasn't until later after I started the job, that I found out that the job paid more than what I was actually getting paid.
Second was with Steve. Steve was great! I really felt like he was doing his best to make it beneficial for all parties involved. He was able to negotiate my salary for almost an additional $10k. Even when I had an issue after starting, Steve jumped right in to make sure that all agreements for me accepting the position were honored. I will be forever impressed with his service.
My last experience, and the reason for this review was with Michele. Michele stated that she was going to submit my resume for a position. She gave me specifications about the job. It was in office, and she also gave the salary specifications. I happened to review the position only to find that the job is listed as hybrid and the salary was lower than what was mentioned in the job posting. I sent Michele an email and questioned why she gave me incorrect information. The only response was a very rude email that stated that the job was now in office, they increased the salary, and my resume was not considered because they wanted someone with more manufacturing experience. I just looked at the posting and nowhere does it mention manufacturing experience is a must. There was a different position that required manufacturing experience and I never applied to that position because I didn't have that type of experience. Yet another lie! This was just her way of dismissing me because she was not happy about my addressing the misinformation that she had given.
Of course, there is no true way to verify any of what she said, but the fact that I never applied for a job that I was passed up on is rather ironic. I spoke to her on Friday, sent the email on Saturday and got my response on Monday. After she said that it would be later in the week before she heard something.
People do not apply for jobs to make less than they are currently making. If all of the information changed as Michle stated, then she should have advised of those changes and the posting should have been updated. Michele should have been aware of that at the onset of our first call.
My interaction with her was subpar and very disappointing. People that are in the market for a new job do not want to feel like they are not getting the best effort from the person that reached out to them for an opportunity, not be dismissed because they had legitimate concerns.
The recruiters are very misleading. They are not honest, they are not accountable and will not do what is in your best interest when it comes to job searches.
Don't waste your time getting your hopes up.

I used this service when my company reorganized. Though every person I talked to was very friendly and caring, this service wasn't helpful at all. I left a detailed review on my experience here and someone from LHH contacted me to offer me another month of service with a new advisor. My new advisor was knowledgeable and helpful, but the service was the same. It's basic information that can be found anywhere on the internet for free. The LHH's website is rough. It doesn't function well and it's navigating it is not intuitive. The calendars don't sync, notifications are unhelpful, a lot of the "info" is just links to YouTube videos, LinkedIn articles, and an internal job board that simply mirrors Indeed. You only get one rewrite for your resume and the advice they offered wasn't very insightful. If you are offered the service by your employer, do not elect to use it. It's unhelpful and, honestly, kinda frustrating. If you find it helpful to talk to other people who are in a similar situation, then this is for you. They encourage people to help each other by talking about their job search experience. If you're more about action, this is not the service for you. I do think LHH is aware of the website functionality. When I spoke to someone, I wanted to go into detail about my experience with the website, but they kind of ignored it and made it about my advisor, who was fine.

I couldn’t agree more in terms of overpromising and absolutely under delivering. I spent 6months working with them as part of a corporate restructuring and only got a resume out of it. It’s a lot of watch this video, join this 30min session, very generic. After sharing feedback on my experience I was contacted told I would have an additional 30 days with a new coach set the initial contact date and heard from no one….until I reached out to three different people and forwarded my communication.
Honestly a poor experience.

Was paired with LHH after being made redundant. Total waste of time. Did not find a single appropriate job on their platform. The CV review was out of date and the reviewer couldn't open the file. Never spoke with the talent placement team (it's promised as a key tool in the video that you are asked to watch on day 1). They promised salary guides - there was none, networking events - there was none, industry specific recruiters - never spoke to one. All of the webinars were for the US. TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME.

I don't suggest people work with them. I was talking to a mean and rude recruiter called Hannah yesterday. I applied for a call center position. I don't consider myself to have zero calling experience, so I answered yes on experience. I understand I never worked in the actual environment, but I wanted to try to present myself. I wasn't taking this job posting as a joke. This is the reason why I decided to give it a shot. I tried to present myself and explained to her when I was working in the medical field, I needed to be on the phone a lot. I would appreciate her telling me the client really requires someone to have such background; instead she said I was wasting people's time. I hope she understands that not everyone is lucky like her to still have a job. A lot of people got laid off and still struggling. We are all humans. We should treat each other with kindness and support each other, especially during this difficult time. We really don't need any more negativity or being mean to others. I really hope no one else will be treated like this.
The website is essentially an unintelligible collect of basic information. It’s clumsy, slow and near impossible to navigate to what you do want. It also lacks any real depth. The information when you do get to it is level 1 stuff, and certainly nothing you couldn’t get for free. All in all very disappointing.
I communicated many times that we need to be able to integrate the sessions with our main calendar - be it Google or anything else.
To this point, this hasn't been solved. And this resulted in extra work to organize your calendar & add links which is insane if you consider how easy it is to just add a link to the system email.
Great support & insights from the staff, but the online system, progress & the different programs provided need improvement in organizing & tracking your progress areas.
