A Charity That Fails Its Purpose

I worked as a financial accountant with this organisation and, unfortunately, my experience was very negative. In my opinion, the charity does not treat vulnerable people fairly, despite this being central to its purpose. The day-to-day culture I experienced left me questioning whether the organisation’s values are truly being followed.
Senior management appeared to be very well paid and, in my opinion, transparency around pay and benefits was poor. This created a poor atmosphere of accountability and undermined trust in the organisation’s leadership.
As an employee, I felt unsupported and disillusioned. The focus seemed more on management’s lifestyle than on helping the community or supporting staff. In my view, this is not a healthy workplace, nor does it reflect the standards expected of a genuine charity.
Overall: a disappointing experience — I cannot recommend this organisation.
