I have house,car,and motorcycle insurance with this company..made a claim for accidental damage in my home last year,which was refused,made another claim for accidental damage to my car a year later due to storm damage,which was also refused,can you believe they asked me to send a picture of the storm and the rain..how stupid are this company..stay away,don't use them
More than we expected
We had an electrical problem with our car and Liberty paid for a Grua to take it to a garage of our choice. It was during Covid when it was difficult to get parts and my broker told me that after 7 days in a garage we were entitled to a hire car. Great! Taxi to airport to collect it included and when fixed we returned the hire car to the airport and had a taxi take us too the garage to collect our car. Superb service
House Insurance underpaid!
We have had house insurance with them for 5 years. Recently in heavy rain a large awning broke (it was less than 2 years old) the cost to replace was €100 less than a replacement.
Liberty said the repair was above market value and offered €500 less - I asked them to tell me where I could get it repaired or replaced for their valuation. They just refused to communicate with me saying it was not market value.
Won’t be renewing with them!
Excellent efficiency
We have nothing but praise for Liberty Insurance, especially for our contact, Jess Bennett in Málaga, who deals with every email immediately and handles all our queries quickly, kindly and efficiently. They also dealt with our car accident last year quickly and kept us informed throughout the process. Highly recommend.
Dispicable customer service
My wife had a small accident in our car which resulted in 2000 Euros of damage to our newish car, but probably more damage to a much older car. Despite being insured with this company for something like 10 years, and never having made a claim before, I have just received an email saying they won't be renewing my insurance in September. Have been told by my agent that despite having 10 years of protected NCB, it will mean nothing to the new insurers, so I'll be loaded for the accident and have no NCB to reduce the cost. Avoid this dispicable, money grabbing bunch of shysters who have absolutely no customer loyalty, they are only in it for the profit margin.

Had very bad car crash when stationery at traffic lights Torrevieja on Friday 21 st .We were attended by OSCAR truck driver from Liberty Seguros he was very quick getting our car on the truck and firstly we dropped it off at our garage then he dropped us off at Acequion Clinic Torrevieja to get our form signed.We highly recommend him for his work.Thomas and Morag Tindal Carnoustie Scotland/Los Balcones Torrevieja.
Refused Claim …
We had large cracks appear from Front to the Back of the house , even the ceiling cracked across , it has taken them until now to state that the property was badly maintained , HOW does one maintain Structural problems !! The builder has told us it is subsidence , now they want a proper report of how this has happened ! €381.4Million Profit and they refused our claim for €18,000 !! SHYSTERS !!!
These guys are great
These guys are great, they answer calls with people who care about where you've broken down and want to make sure you get recovered quickly. They also provide a taxi to collect your car from the garage and have been really very professional and caring.
I had a car accident in the beginning…
I had a car accident in the beginning of October 2023, which resulted in my nine month car been written off, it could not he repaired. By the end of October they offered me a very good payout,( 1000€ less than I paid for it) which I accepted. The money was in my bank shortly afterwards, ready for me to purchse my new car. I will definitely be using Liberty Insurance to insure my next car.😊

My car was wrecked on 10 August by an inattentive van driver. We were lucky to survive.
The support from the medical branch of Liberty Seguros has been good, even if they struggled to understand that injured people cannot always run to the other side of the province with two hours’ notice.
However, it is now three months since the crash and I am still having to hire a car because Liberty Seguros has still not paid the claim that they admit is legitimate. The level of incompetence beggars belief.
So my advice to you is to take any statements from Liberty that they look after you with a large dose of scepticism. Having been a customer of this company for 12 years for all my insurance policies I feel totally let down.
If the senior staff at Liberty Seguros ever read these reviews, may I strongly suggest you get out of your office and train your staff. NOW!
Fantastic, simple and friendly service
I highly appreciate the quality of service this company provides. It starts with very simple, professional and friendly communication in my language with the iNOV Expat insurance broker, Ekaterina Savliukova, who helped me with the insurance and removed the whole stress from the claim procedure, just after the accident till the very complete repair of my car. The quality of the repairs is fantastic - the car looks and feels like new. I highly recommend Liberty Seguros and the iNOV Expat insurance broker.
Nothing has been done
After an attempted Burglary nothing has been done.
If it was for Liberty Sequros the bars still wouldn't have been in front of the windows. It has been almost two moths now. If fixed i'll find another insurance company.

Pathetic..I cancelled my insurance 3 years ago and they took the money out of my account for a non existent policy for three years Iam in the process of recovery of my funds and inland an apology. Also the rebuked a claim and wouldn't pay for the repairs on my car.

This is a xenophobic insurance company
This is a xenophobic, discriminatory and racist company, do stay away from them. I had a house insurance with them through SGM Legal in Benijofar, when I wanted to purchase a car insurance as well their response was that they did not accept Romanian driving licenses, while they accept any other EU driving licenses. I terminated my house insurance with them as well and consider suing them for open xenophobia and racism.

We had work done on our pool in Calonge. Our neighbour had a pool problem at the same time. We were both told there was a max 1000 euro limit on claims. Our neighbour had all of his bill covered by Liberty even though he had already had the work done and so none of the works could be seen. We did it all by the rule book, loss adjuster, we got two quotes and Liberty have only paid 1000 euros to ours when the bill was 2700. Where is the fairness in that? Terrible service.

I sent them an electricity bill with my IBAN number on to prove the Sabadell details. Because the last four numbers are obliterated for security reasons they would not accept this as proof.
An absolutely awful company. No idea what customer service is. Difficult and Awkward
Completely disappointed
Completely disappointed. We used our service to ask for repairing our water tap. They sent somebody to our place who told us that he can only replace the water tap, not fix it. Hence we bought a new tap water and when we asked to get the guy fix our water tap, they said that we “have already used the service” once this year and we are not allowed to request it again anymore except we pay on our own.

They refused to reimbursed me the rest of the premiums (corresponding to the 8 other months during which Liberty will bien no risk).
Liberty explains that with rules that are not contained in their terms & conditions or any other document they would send you.
They are acting unprofessional and most of all, illegally.
