I went to a Liberty Tax in Kamloops, Bc, Canada, have been going to them for years. I am just now get reassessed for my 2021 tax year because they didnt send in all my t4's. I told them what ones I had, so the missing ones they could get electronically. They did not notify me that they did not have them all, and went ahead and filed my taxes anyways. If i had known they didn't have them all, I wouldnt have filed then. I would have contacted the company i was missing one from to get it. I trusted that they would do it properly and I wouldn't have to double check them. But now i know better, as I owe money for that year now.

Glens Falls Branch 👎🏻
Glens Falls branch has the gall to say “you have your LY taxes there, you should know” when I ask what the cost of the NY state tax return would be. Attitude from the team the second I walked in. Was a customer the last two years. Never again. Now I’m telling EVERYONE I know about my experience.

Liberty Tax 5446 Bethelview Rd. Cumming, Ga.
STAY AWAY! My wife and I had our 2021 taxes prepared there. Months later we received a letter from the IRS stating we owed $5,000 plus a $200 penalty. The individual who prepared our taxes forgot to include certain documents that were provided to him.
Not long after that we received another notice from NYS stating we owed a $42.00 penalty.
we contacted Liberty and spoke to a coworker who informed us that the individual who prepared our taxes had personal issues (WHO CARES!) so we could not speak to him. We were informed by Sarah that she would send letters out so we probably wouldn't have to pay the fines, yet we have not been provided with any confirmation letter. We've had no choice but to pay the $42.00 To NYS since interest accrues.
Might have to litigate.

SPAM, thoughts and an embarrassment ...
They send me emails without me having registered on the platform, I spoke to them saying that I don't know why they send me messages, someone has used my email, I have asked them for my details and they have denied it outright in violation of the data law. SPAM!
