The tracking seems to work fine, but the location notifications don't. I do get frequent and annoying notifications about the android permissions the app wants to change, which I can't as they dr... See more

Gutted, disappointed and very unhappy
I have found on 2 occasions that this company just seems to be about making money. First they 'tricked' me into getting Gold membership but suggesting a free 30 day trial of a higher membership. When I decided it didn't have enough facilities for me, I went to cancel the higher membership, only to find the level I was on before no longer existed. So from paying £24.99 a year, I had to pay £9.99 a month. I found this very shocking.
Now, with their new Pet GPS tracker (I've been looking for something good like this for a long time) I was glad I had the Gold membership as it enabled me to use the pet trackers without an additional monthly premium. What it doesn't tell you is that each tracker has to be activated at a cost of £74.99 per tracker (after the first tracker you use). Considering I have 3 pets, that was no longer the bargain I expected it to be. I cannot believe the company doesn't let you know the activation fee up front before you sign up. Gutted, disappointed and very unhappy.
I purchased the Life360 Platinum plan…
I purchased the Life360 Platinum plan for my active family. My mother, who is included in our family plan, recently experienced a tire blowout. I recalled that my Platinum membership includes a towing package. I contacted customer service, and they dispatched a towing company. After waiting over three hours, the tow truck did not arrive. I then contacted customer service again, and they dispatched a second towing company. I waited an additional two and a half hours for this company, and my attempts to contact them for an estimated time of arrival were unsuccessful as no one answered the phone. Furthermore, I noted that these third-party towing companies utilized by Life360 are not listed on Google. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Life360.
Better alternatives
They harvest data and don't allow users to control who is in charge of location tracking. I prefer PlaceMe Guardian which is free of social media, and advertising. Also you don't need the app to receive safety alerts by Text or Email
Not to be relied upon or trusted
I have used Life 360 for 8 years. I pay a monthly subscription. What I want you all to know is please don't rely upon the information provided time or location. It's gone totally inaccurate in the last year. If you think your child is in one place at a certain time please be aware of the flaws. Support is now a chat bot. I highly recommend finding another method of sharing location details from a very concerned parent.
Extremely poor customer service
Extremely poor customer service. Needed assistance to log back in to my account . All you get is some AI person who can only bleat nonsense.
DO NOT USE LIFE 360
It has one job...and fails.
Location accuracy is poor. Its entire function - and it's wrong. It adds journeys that don't exist and when three family members were in the same car on the same journey, had us in three different places, with people "stopping" off the route at random times. The phones are all new (S25 and similar) and for all other apps that use location, Google maps, what3words etc, are totally accurate. It's a Life360 problem, not a "me" problem. Not recommended.
Garbage with offensive advertising.
Tried to get a second Account running
Tried to get a second Account running, Apparently you can't have two accounts on the same phone
Scam
This app and cpy act like scammer. It ask U to form a " Circle" of friends to help each other in sos situations. Then it ask U what role U r in this Circle. If U do not put admin, U will not be able to delete yourself from this circle or CANCEL any subscriptions U have.
SCAM.
Supposedly an app for families featuring sex toy ads!!
This is an app for families with children and yet our family circle home page has the most disgusting, inappropriate Temu ads banner for sex toys and other questionable items on it appear this week. I have teen sons who now have to look at a Temu ad with naked women and sex toys featuring on life 360 that is supposed to be for their safety. An app that is for families!!! I used the "AI support chat" how the ad banner can be removed. The "support" advised I should check ad preferences. Then when I asked where the ad preferences are in settings, it replied there are currently no ad preferences settings on life 360! I am so disappointed as we had been using Life360 for a long time just to realiseit is life 360 I have to shield my kids from!!!!!!!
Free Tile offer a scam
Signed up for Gold after seeing the offer for a free tile, first payment went out and all trace of the offer disappeared. To me that seems like a scam so went to cancel the subscription and they make it extremely difficult to do.
What a joke!…They suck you in with…
What a joke!…They suck you in with these amazing video’s but every step in creating is pay more.
Disgusted!…Stay away from this app!…It’s just to pull every £ out of you…Avoid!
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!
The App works most of the time.
So it’s “OK” at best.
However there is “NO” customer service Your talking with a bot that isn’t able to problem solve.
And they’ve just increased the price by $3.00 per month and you get absolutely nothing new for it!!! It isn’t worth $12.99 per month and now they are charging $15.99 per month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am looking for the next best family connection App.
One that is actually helpful when you need help and isn’t going to gouge you financially once they have you sucked into the convenience of having this service finally somewhat working.
Not impressed
WOULD HIGHLY “NOT” RECOMMEND!!!
Enables Abuse.
My now ex partner found this app in the Apple App Store. It should never be allowed. He used it to control my every move. He turned up when I was having meetings with work and coffee with friends, was constantly asking why I was in places. This app enables coercive control, abuse, and they sell every bit of data they collect on you, location, driving, email, phone numbers, birthdates the lot. It needs abolishing.
Terrible privacy policy
Terrible privacy policy, non replaceable batteries and tiles are bricked if you delete your account.
Why can't they simply be a tracker? This is a stalking app for parents and nothing more.
Water resistant trackers
Been using it for a good couple years and my father in law gifted my partner a wallet tracker for his birthday as he looses it all the time and it works amazing but it wasn’t until 30 minutes ago I found out they’re water resistant. After telling my partner multiple times to empty his pockets before I wash the clothes, the wallet tracker decided to go for a bath with our clothes. It not only survived but still works as if new. Highly recommend buying but maybe not putting them in the wash.🧽
This App is useless and engages in…
This App is useless and engages in predatory marketing. The phone screen is full of ads to buy more services. The basic reason I bought it for is hard to find. Also, the marketing garbage tales over the app making it hard to navigate and find what you want. As soon as I find another service without all of the unwanted clutter, I will toss my 4 devices in the garbage and move on.
False claims and poor service
App makes false claims. I have a gold membership and the breakdown services page says “Keys missing or stuck in the car? We’ll send a locksmith to get you back in.” I called them and they told me that I would have to sort out a new key myself. This was muttered in a very rude tone.
The AI live chat on their website won’t let you make a complaint, so as a result I’ve cancelled my membership.
Dishonest
Got to be the most useless customer…
Got to be the most useless customer service I have ever had the displeasure to deal just a complete waste of time having problems without faulty tracker's which are less than 12 months old use the chat line for help the only help I got was to get rid of you as quickly as possible without any help a disgusting disgrace.
Website scams you
Website scams you. Don’t ever use even if it looks appealing
