Horrible company and lousy service run…

Horrible company and lousy service run by an Italian-American woman, Karen, and her American husband, Jeff Hattaway. I was invited on one of their trips to review their product. Despite living in Rome, it was obvious that Jeff knew next to nothing about Italian culture (has never heard of Valentino) or popular food and drinks in Italy. They billed themselves as "luxury and offering personalized service, but while staying in Puglia, we never had the opportunity to meet the owners of the house we were staying at (but I was expected to "interview" them), no forethought to heat the pool in April for guests, and they couldn't provide something as simple as tea despite it being requested for 3 days. Jeff Hattaway then said I was not "the kind of guest" they want. I guess guests requesting tea was beyond their capabilities. They wanted a review? Here's an honest one. I've had the pleasure of traveling with, and featuring many other family-run Italy tour operators who care about their guests. Avoid this one!
