I was very impressed by the quality of build and fitting of the apartments at Pemberley Place. The location is good and there is a general sense of tranquility.
The Sales Consultant, Sandra, who showed us around, was extremely helpful and attentive.

Having not moved house for a considerable time (nearly fifty years!) and moving to a new area, we were understandably a little apprehensive about moving, but we need not have been. Whilst there were some issues and delays caused by the constructors - as ever - the team at Anchor kept us well informed with good communication. Once we’d moved in the Anchor team were really supportive and helpful. There were as expected with new buildings a few little teething problems but these were sorted immediately and the support is ongoing and proactive. The facility itself is as good as described in the Anchor literature and we’ve found the location ideal. We believe we’ve made a good move and look forward to new experiences.

Gave impression shared ownership only option, but presume that is not the case. Publicity suggests that development close to sea but it is actually a mile away, on a busy main road. Many apartments only appear to have just one bath/shower and no laundry room or washing machine (?). Sales staff professional but not sure they knew much about the area.

Although we were not allowed into our new apartment block we did enjoy lunch and meeting several of who would be our future neighbours.

Living in Pemberley Place, Bath.
About a year ago I decided, with my family’s encouragement to look at somewhere that offered independent living with help, should I need it. Pemberley Place was the first one that I looked at so I compared any others with it. The sales people were very caring and good, showing me a number of apartments and answering all my questions. Sandra Jeffrey was always available to help me with the purchase and it was lovely to see her when I moved in. Now that I am here I am really enjoying myself. The building itself is well planned and the apartment is very spacious, well equipped and warm, the other residents have welcomed me and there are a number of different things to take part in. This was an excellent decision.

When we saw an advert for The Wharf, it sounded great but was a few years earlier than we had planned for our dream of a two bed apartment by a river. However, we viewed it that same day, found the perfect apartment, and spent a few days deciding whether we should do this now. Thank goodness we did! Sandra Walters was wonderful - very understanding but never pushy, and gave us all the information we needed to make a decision.
It was a problematic process regarding our sale chain, but Sandra assured us that we would not lose our purchase and there was never any pressure from Anchor, despite it taking seven months. As long as they can see you are actively marketing your property they give you the time you need.
On the day we moved in the money process was delayed by one of the lawyers in the chain, and when we still hadn’t completed by 4pm our removal lorries were instructed to drive away and for us to rebook delivery.
We wandered into The Wharf like two lost souls, but Sandra, who should have gone home at 4pm NEVER leaves until she sees a completion has taken place. We couldn’t reach our solicitor but Sandra got straight onto the phone to her contact there and sorted it out and we completed at 4.50pm on a Friday. Thank you so much Sandra 🥰
We booked into The Wharf’s Guest Suite (£30 a night), which is lovely, and finally moved into our apartment two days later. We felt at home at The Wharf even when we were in in the Guest Suite. It feels so comfortable and safe. The residents who have moved in so far have set up a Wharf Community WhatsApp group, and there is continual communication so you need never feel alone. They have two coffee mornings a month, watch Strictly in the Lounge on Saturdays, and other things like Yoga are starting up by a Wellness lady who has talked to us.
This NOT assisted living but there is a lot in place in these cleverly and beautifully appointed apartments to make you feel safe. Come and speak to Sandra about all that we have here.
There is a mix of age groups from 55yrs upwards.
Rochester is a beautiful town and we have all of it literally across the road from us.
We only moved in less than three weeks ago but wake up every morning feeling blessed.
Come and see!

I went along to a presentation for a shared ownership 2 bedroom flat for the over 60’s and of course the build and flats were exciting. The show flats were lovely, large and comfortable. I felt that this maybe doable and spoke to Sarah afterwards.
Sarah was incredibly helpful and made an appointment to discuss further. She also came in to the office on a Saturday to speak with my daughter to reassure her too. Following this, arranged for me to speak to someone to go over the figures and Sarah accompanied me during this meeting.
After all the help and support from Sarah as well as my daughter who is gifting a certain amount to help me financially, I am shortly going to be the proud owner of a beautiful flat.
I will also be living closer to my daughter and grandchildren which is reassuring.

From the moment I arrived at The Wharf I knew it was going to be my new home! Sandra, the sales consultant, was absolutely lovely. She was patient, showing my daughters and I as many apartments as we wanted, and ultimately helped me choose the best one in the block ( that's only my opinion!). I cannot fault any part of the process. Downsizing from a home filled with so many memories is never going to be easy, but it's definitely been the right move for me.

I viewed the apartment on numerous occasions, and also brought various family members along. Everyone agreed with me, that moving to The Wharf was the right thing to do. Having lived in my previous house for over 15 years, I knew that downsizing would be a challenge. But it has definitely been worth the effort. I instantly felt settled and have made new friends. Thank you to Sandra and all the team for being so welcoming and for having the answers to all my queries.

From my very 1st viewing of the Wharf I knew it was the right move for me. Despite not knowing the area I felt sure I would be happy here. Sandra is so helpful, supporting me throughout the process and continues to do so now I’m here ! The apartments are beautiful and such a high quality finish. Location is brilliant with everything on the doorstep - Rochester is such a historic town with a lovely High Street offering lots of great independent shops, restaurants, bars and pubs, not forgetting the Cathedral and the Castle ! Am really enjoying exploring the area and getting to know my new surroundings and neighbours.
It’s really the best of both worlds, feeling safe in such a beautiful apartment and setting, and knowing there’s support if you need it.

We attended a presentation at the Peaks, Woodford, it was extremely informative, the complex was amazing, Lincoln Julie and Pauline were great hosts, nothing too much trouble, thank you

Just 3 weeks back we visited the site at Hampton Peterborough and met Sarah Algar the sales consultant at The Brambles. She was both very warm polite and helpful in showing us around the show apartment explaining everything about the apartment and details pertaining to an eventual occupation of a flat. She provided the necessary paperwork
and pack containing details. We were most appreciative for the time that was taken to answer all issues raised by us.
As we were to go on holiday we had loads of time to think of everything before making a final decision.
Sadly after much thought it was felt that we would be unable to go ahead. I met and informed Sarah of our decision. She assured us if were to have a change of heart to contact her in near future. Thank you.

I love life at The Wharf. The Sales team helped with what can be a stressful move in later life, supporting and guiding you through. Our manager explained the terms and conditions well and is on hand during the week if you need assistance.
Since my first morning waking up here I always have a smile on my face, its like being on holiday to me. Amenities are close by and the walks by the river are great.
Since being one of the first to move in it has been a pleasure getting to know people moving in and now it is filling up we are starting to think of groups to start. You can choose to join in or not depending on your preference. Bills are so much cheaper and you don't have to worry about external unexpected expenses.
I would thoroughly recommend it.
