Horrendous company
Awful company. I told them 17 times I got paid at 3pm on Mondays and they kept locking the TV by 10am due to payment failure. Then I told them I couldn't afford weekly and wanted fortnightly when I got paid yet they coildnt offer the dates or within a couple dates after the main dates i wanted. Slow at emailing back and don't answer the phone when I called but quick to contact you about a late payment around noon each Monday when they knew I got paid at 3pm. Tv itself was rubbish ,much cheaper to buy outright. After 18months of paying the TV isn't even yours ,you either upgrade or pay 20% of what you've been paying weekly.
After going over my budget for the next few months I realised that we couldn't pay it as we have more important bills to pay so I requested a return so they could rent elsewhere. They said I needed to pay the retail price (£285) plus the remainder of my contract which was 14months worth = £8.99 x 60
Which is alot of money when you can't afford to keep up with the weekly payments already. So much unnecessary stress.
A lady phoned me on the Tuesday and asked why I hadn't paid the day before I said I couldn't afford it and had already arranged a collection of the TV. She then asked when I could pay and I said that I couldn't as I didn't have it as Bread, milk, ect for my toddler is more important st this time, she got really threating at me ,spoke to me like crap so I hung up. I generally don't take alot of calls due to my anxiety and I don't think I will for a while after this.
Tv also locked at random points without warning even if I was paid up for the week. I emailed and the tv needed an update a few times but I had no knowledge when or notification from the tv itself so I think it was a load of bull.
Avoid this company!
Complete scam.
Buy off market place or save for one instead of being roped into this disaster of a company.
They trade under HIYA rentals. Which on the government page shows they are in debt with tax which is why bank statements show lifestyle rentals.
