My entire experience with the Liggy's team was an absolute dream. From my initial enquiry asking whether it was possible to make a specifically designed birthday cake, through to finalising delivery arrangements, communication from Liggy's Cakes was incredibly prompt and the team were extremely helpful.

Thank you for your willingness to try a new design and for the care and the attention to detail you put into the cake. You made a number of Kiwi's very happy!

Last weekend our company celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Edinburgh. Liggy's cakes made the most amazing celebration cake for 60 people. The brief sent was understood and a design sent for approval prior to making the cake. Liggy and her team communicated and delivered the cake to the venue on time.
As well as being fresh and delicious, the cake was perfect and exactly as the discussed brief.
I can't recommend Liggy's cakes highly enough and will definitely use again.

We’ve ordered a wedding cake from Liggy’s Cake, Edinburgh and had a very disappointing experience. Firstly, cake wasn’t semi-naked as ordered. Top layer was made of polystyrene. We were not warned about it and had an embarrassing moment in front of guests, trying to cut the cake. After asking for partial refund, Liggy’s agreed to give us a refund. Eight weeks on after emails, phone calls, shop visits there is still no refund. There is always an excuse, they have problem with online banking, no cash in hand or manager just piped out the shop. They were happy to take prepayment though. The worst ever experience I had. Not what you expect for your wedding. Avoid by all means

We couldn't of been happier with our beautiful Wedding Cake from Liggy's! The communication was great throughout the process and the tasting was stress free and so much fun! We picked our cake so easily as they had lots to choose from in the Bearsden shop - we didn't feel overwhelmed or pushed into anything and got exactly what we wanted!

The cake was beautiful and tasted even better, would 100% recommend!

We had a Great Gatsby themed wedding and the cake that Liggy and team created was both gorgeous and tasty! Super pleasant to deal with and would highly recommend anyone to order their wedding cake (or any cake!!) with them!

Could not have asked for better service from start to finish, we got the Wedding cake of our dreams it was exactly as I described and all 3 tiers tasted wonderful. They went out of their way to help even talking to the local florist on our behalf. Living at the other end of the country and getting married in Scotland organising the cake was made easy with their help. We definitely recommend Liggys cakes Bearsden. I've used Liggy's cakes Edinburgh on a few occasions. Unfortunately a bit disappointed on this occasion. The first one to eat the ended up with dark blue lips fingers and teeth and did most of the party till we all started noticing each other. Which wasn't great. The colouring was too strong.
Very disappointing on that score.
As per usual, design was great as was the sponge cake itself.

Bought a cake from Liggys Edinburgh shop for my daughters birthday. She was delighted. The cake was absolutely amazing both in decoration and taste (lovely and moist).

After many disappointing cakes and cupcakes from other cake makers, I'll definitely be using Liggys again.

We ordered our wedding cake from Liggy's and had the most wonderful experience. Liggy's stuck with us through multiple delays during COVID - always getting back to us really quickly and changing dates with no issue at all.
Liggy's designed us a gorgeous pink three tiered marble style wedding cake that was a real statement piece and looked fantastic in our photos. The cake itself was absolutely delicious - with each tier a different exciting flavour (creamy coconut buttercream and raspberry jam, lemon zest buttercream and wild blueberry jam and vanilla buttercream with raspberry jam). In fact, we were so impressed at the cake tasting that by the time our third wedding date came around and we had to downsize from 100 guests to 50, we decided to keep the original wedding cake order for 100 people and we've had delicious leftovers all week (the cake has also kept extremely well).
Liggy's delivered the cake to our venue on time and with zero problems. A special shoutout to Megan at Liggy's too. My husband didn't manage to have a slice of the lemon and bluberry tier during the wedding day and unfortunately there wasn't any leftovers of that flavour left after the wedding. I emailed Liggy's and they very kindly made us some extra lemon and blueberry slices so my husband could try it. This was such a kind gesture and something we both really appreciated - my husband absolutely loved it! Thank you Liggy's for going above and beyond and creating the cake of our dreams.

Communication and customer service here is shocking. I enquired about a cake to be specially made and got a reply to which I then replied with the details and had no reply ever since. I appreciate places are busy but the made out they had availability by replying and asking for more info.

Managed to find a lovely cake shop who replied consistently and have gone above and beyond for my special cake.

The team at Liggy's are just the best! For our wedding, they were really helpful and went above and beyond at the tasting to make sure we were getting the cake we wanted for our wedding. Importantly, they were also really flexible, pivoting without a blink of an eye when we had to postpone our wedding and then had to totally change our order for our 'wee wedding' - coming up with the idea of a fake cake tier so it still looked like the cake we'd originally ordered. The cake looked stunning on the day and all our guests commented on how tasty the cake was. Would highly recommend Liggy's!

Got a cake made for my little girls 1st birthday and it was beautiful and delicious.
