Total scam, garbage company overcharging for a pathetic product. Their lamp didn't work, and they charge a ridiculous "restock fee"

I bought two of these and one of the remotes stopped working, they promised for months to send a replacement and never did. Then they offered me a refund for a remote which i didnt accept (i have them on two different locations), and i never heard from them again.

Don't buy this product!! This is a scam! I purchased off of Insta and got a Chinese knockoff which retails at about $40 on Amazon. Their return policy is also BS. You have to ship it to Canada at your own expense, and they keep a 20% restock fee.

Complete scam. Never received any goods and was never issued a refund. Several weeks later, ended up having to recover the money through the bank

Terrible Customer Service – Avoid This Scam! I purchased a lamp from this company, and while the product itself is mediocre at best, the real issue is their shady return policy and complete disregard for consumer rights.

When I tried to return the lamp, I was hit with a **20% restocking fee**, which is both unfair and illegal under Swedish consumer law (where I live). On top of that, they expect customers to pay for return postage AND label printing – an absolutely outrageous demand.

Their so-called "refund process" is designed to discourage returns, with vague language about "inspecting" the product and no guarantee of a fair resolution. It feels like they are profiting off returns rather than providing honest customer service.

If you live outside Canada, avoid this company at all costs. They clearly have no understanding of international consumer laws and will try to scam you with unjust fees. Don’t waste your time or money here – there are far better and more reputable companies out there.

I got my lamps shipped from China, had to pay customs charges. The lamps were pretty easy to assemble. It took some effort to get the lamps straightened up as they were quite wonky. First of all the lamps look much cheaper than what they charge for them. The LED part is something you can purchase from a DIY shop. The lights are not bright at all so they are unusable as floor lamps. As ambient light they also leave a lot to be desired as one lamp simply doesn’t give enough light. Just a tiny concentrated spot, nothing like the pictures they have on the website.
But by far the worst thing about these lamps is the cheap remote you wouldn’t want lying around your house. Going through those patterns to get to decent non Christmas light is exhausting. And there is no normal warm light. It’s either office white or yellow or greenish hues as substitutes for common warm white. Nothing about this light is comfy. If there was a way to turn these lamps on without a remote, they’d be somewhat usable. Also my lamps are in different rooms and have their own remotes. Yet as soon as I turn one on the other one turns on too. This is just annoying.
I wanted to leave a review on Elux website but couldn’t find a way to do so. There’s also nothing in the FAQ section that could point me in the right direction. If I could return these without having to pack them the way they were packed I would. I just wanted to warn others who also saw a FB add and got all excited about these lamps. They are not worth it.

Love my lights, they are perfect in my living room. One on either side of my fireplace.

Bought a lamp from them that had a problem with one of the parts. After explaining my issue , they agreed to replace the whole light. Great service group. Beautiful lamp!

The quality of the lights are great. They look beautyfull and they are stabil. Another reason why i can recommend this lights is the customer service, especially Ms. Lily, she is very helpfull and answers very quick and is a big help. I had questions about smart functions and she could help me very quick. In total i can recommend this lights, price, quality, delivery time and customer service all very high level. My favorite light for the future.

Originally ordered a lamp which did not work. Customer service however was excellent and they have now supplied a replacement which works perfectly.

This was an overall great experience. I saw the lamp advertised on Instagram a few times and we decided it was a good fit for us. I placed the order and right away received an email from Lily regarding the order. We received it one day after it shipped. It was super easy to assemble and it looks great in our living room. The amber/orange is my favorite hue. We’re super happy we made the decision to purchase it! Thank you!

I've seen the same photo of their lamps on other websites selling for much cheaper, and I've seen reviews stating that it's cheaply made and you can buy the exact same thing from Amazon for $60, and the company even offered a free lamp to someone in returns of removing their negative review! I asked if they could cancel my order and give me a refund and they replied a few days later saying they'll contact the warehouse first to see if it's been shipped first, then I messaged back the next day for feed back on that and they replied a week later saying they contacted the warehouse to get a tracking number which isn't what I asked for. I corrected them on it and said I wanted a refund and to cancel my order, and they still proceeded to ship the item but dragged it out by taking forever to reply to my emails so they probably didnt have to go ahead with a refund. Don't buy from this company they're dodgy, slack with replying, and don't listen to their customers at all, and over price their products, and make excuses for their actions. Do better elux lighting, and stop ripping people off.....

Placed an order with them for 5 products. Never received a tracking number, but was told that my items were shipped and that an automated email would go out with tracking information in a few hours. Days later and 4 follow up emails that were ignored, and I finally get an email saying that the integration with the shipper was down. No contact phone number provided, only an email that they only occasionally check. Dishonest about having already shipped my order. I am initiating a chargeback with my credit card company. Avoid this company
