Great scans
I got an voucher to have a scan here and thought I'd try it. I saw the potential photos I could get in 3D, 4D and the offer also included some short movie clip. I booked my appointment slot and when I turned up, there wasn't any delays and I was seen on time. The lady Pernille spoke perfect English and proceeded with the scan. The baby was not quite in the right position to get good photos so we had to move around a bit, jump up and down and see if we could move him whilst Pernille was also checking if we could come back later when he might have moved. Luckily thought the baby moved a little and we got some amazing 3D shots :-) We got a dvd with all the pictures and some movie clips and a printout of some of the 3D photos to take home. We enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it!! :-)

Disappointed with the 3rd trimester scan
I visited the clinic in Copenhagen 2 days ago to get a 3rd trimester scan, the regular one. On the clinic website, they claim the possibility of seeing baby's face, moves, etc. and that's what we were hoping for.
From the beginning of the scan, the midwife started to apologize that we might not be able to see baby’s face and only get measurements. Also, she mentioned that at this gestational age (33+3) is hard to get a hold of baby’s face because of the position and we should have came in earlier, before 30 weeks.
I wish the clinic would have informed me of this before paying and make it clear on the website that after 30 weeks I will not be able to see baby’s face, not even a foot or a hand . I would have not bothered to come to Copenhagen and spend 400 kr in that situation.
Thus, I am very disappointed with the service at the clinic but mostly the misleading information on the website. Now I know why it's so cheap to get a scan there.

3.TRIMESTER SCANNING (TRYGHEDSCANNING): 400KR. 15-20 MINUTTER, FRA 28 UGER TIL 40 UGER.

I am sorry that we can not do the 3D scanning of the face because you paid for the 3.trimester scanning 400kr og NOT for the 3D scanning 800kr.
You expected something which you did not paid for.
There is nothing wrong with the information in our homepage!
Any one who read it (sorry, we only have it in Danish), can read that the 400kr 3.trimester scanning is NOT a 3D scanning.

Very professional service and moving experience
I got a very good deal on Downtown.dk but I was a bit septical about 3D scanning. The midwife was very professional and it is a great experience to see your child and be reassure about her good developement specially in the 3rd trimester.
