Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the significant price increases, which they felt were excessive and made essential medication unaffordable. Customers also frequently encountered issues with product quality, specifically faulty injection pens that either malfunctioned or did not dispense medication correctly. Reviewers found the customer service unhelpful and dismissive when trying to resolve these product issues, often being told it was their fault without proper investigation. Many also reported extreme difficulty in contacting the company, experiencing long hold times and a lack of follow-up.

I’m a bit pissed

I’m a bit pissed. I was put on mounjaro for type two diabetes. I was able to afford it at $25 per month. Now they want to charge me over $900 per month. They charge less than $100 per month to people in other countries but charge Americans over $900 per month. It’s time Americans should boycott Eli Lilly and don’t buy any drugs they make. They treat their own fellow citizens like dirt.

91% 1 star reviews.

Wow 91% 1 star customer reviews. That tells you they don’t care to improve. I was on hold 31 minutes and they needed to talk to problem resolution. When I called back it was a 37 minute hold time just to be told that they would not replace my insulin pen that had broken. No good will by this company. At least this wasn’t a Mounjaro pen that malfunctioned. Lots of people had that happen and got no replacement. Greedy bastards.

Faulty pen

Faulty pen. Primes fine and get it ready to inject and jams. Got through to someone and forced to attempt to inject five times. Now can’t get through to them to discuss a refund. Pharmacist has deemed pen faulty though I’m still up for cost of a new one. Terrible that you can’t even get through to speak to someone.

Disgraceful, greedy, 'computer says no' service

Disgraceful company, I am in the process of reporting them to every medical ombudsman I can find. Refused to replace a faulty Mounjaro pen I paid £580 for at a private pharmacy. It didn't click when it was turned and wouldn't eject anything so its unfit for purpose. Still can't believe they refused to replace or refund their faulty medical pen that is clearly full and hasn't been possible to use. Had to sit through some annoying 'computer says no' call centre agent based in the Philippines talking me through 'how to click the pen' on repeat for an hour after being on hold for ages for them to not even take the pen to investigate and just declare the case closed, there's no fault apparently and I must have broke it! LITERALLY THE WORST CUSTOMER 'CARE' EVER. Please avoid them where possible, I'm only just seeing all the other reviews of people in the same position as me, investing over £500 in a faulty pen with no solution offered from Eli Lilly or the pharmacy vendor (who to be fair won't replace as Eli Lilly treat them with the same disdain as their direct clients). Absolute bandits.

I am very disappointed in this company…

I am very disappointed in this company and the customer support. I bought very expensive Mounjaro pen with four shots. I did only 3 of them, and the pen stuck. When I wrote to them and explained the issue, they told me, that I already did four shots. And refused to compensate my last st. But this is over 100$!!! So I’m suggest, do not trust this company!

Disgusting company!

Raising prices on a drug needed by so many. We want you OUT OF THE UK! GET OUT! I'D RATHER BE FAT. I WON'T GIVE YOU ANOTHER CENT. I'VE CHANGED INJECTIONS. How does it feel to be the most hated company in the UK. Perhaps you should remove your lips from Trumpty's butt!

They are not interested in helping you

I reached out for some help paying for the glp1 because my insurance would no longer cover it. They said they would help me. They strung me along for over a month and a half and did absolutely nothing. I told them my insurance wouldn’t pay for it yet. They went that route tried to get it approved by my insurance, even though I told them it wouldn’t and it didn’t and then they never reached out to me again after that they are not about the people or taking care of the people. They’re about the money and the bottom line like all the rest.

Ordered zepbound. Supposed to get meds in 3 days. Ups sent meds back to pharmacy after waiting on meds for 4 business days. I'm out $349 dollars and don't know when I'll get meds. Customer service is no help. All they say is another shipment is being processed. Can't cancel order they said. It's a rip off

● Well done😡🤬got all the world as clients because of an amazing weight loss product and earning millions and soon will lose everything because they are ambitious, in Europe prices are higher and so it does not have as many customers as in Uk, increase the price for new customers its ok, but for existing customers it is a way to deceive people, promise the product at a price to win customers and then increase to a ridiculously impossible price for an ordinary person to pay, Wait until another company can make the same product for a reasonable price and the millions that this company has earned, will lose everything and cause the company to fail, so as not to deceive customers.

Corporate Greed Masquerading as Healthcare

Eli Lilly are nothing short of disgraceful, operating with the same ruthless tactics as street dealers. Their recent 170% price hike, announced with just two weeks’ notice, is predatory, deliberately exploiting people who are already dependent on their medication. This is greed at its most shameless. They hook vulnerable people in with treatments that become essential to daily life and then tighten the noose when patients have no choice but to pay extortionate rates. Eli Lilly is not acting like a healthcare provider, they are completely devoid of ethics.
