After seeing your review, we got in touch with you and were pleased to hear back from you. From your reply, it appears that the main issue was the chain length (you choose the 16 inch chain) rather than the locket itself. All of our lockets are supplied with a choice of chain lengths at the time of ordering, and it is very straightforward for us to exchange a chain for a longer one if needed. We asked which length you would prefer and would still be very happy to arrange this for you. Please feel free to get back to us again on this. We are still waiting to hear from you.
We also offer a 30 day no-quibble returns policy on all unworn items, which are not engraved. It is always possible to return such pieces for a full refund, in accordance with our returns policy.
As a small independent family business, we genuinely want every customer to be delighted with their purchase. Our Diamond Heart Locket is one of our bestselling designs and is crafted sterling silver with a genuine ethically mined diamond. Every piece is individually inspected before leaving our studio and we photograph personalised lockets as part of our quality control process. I should have read Trustpilot reviews before ordering a locket from this company.I have sent several emails about the quality of the product which had scratch marks and indentations.I have to agree with another reviewer regarding the quality of the item.It does look cheap considering the amount of money you are paying.
Happy to take your money but when you complain takes ages for a response.

We are sorry that you remain disappointed with your purchase, Robert.
We responded to each of your emails within our published response times and investigated your concerns thoroughly. You selected the Round Locket Necklace in White Gold Vermeil, along with our free photo service. You also had the locket engraved.
Your personalised locket was photographed carefully before dispatch and independently inspected by two members of our quality control team. Because of the note you sent before we made your locket, we ensured our inspection was especially thorough.
Following your complaint, we reviewed our quality control photographs alongside the numerous photographs you sent us, including further highly magnified images highlighting an area of concern inside the locket at the hinge.
These were not visible to the naked eye in any of the photos so we ran them through two magnifying tools and through an AI image detector. Both came back negative for defects.
We concluded that the marks you identified are very minor polishing burrs on the inside of the locket. These are a normal characteristic of a polished precious metal item, fall within accepted manufacturing tolerances and do not affect the appearance, durability or function of the locket. We were unable to identify a manufacturing fault.
We also explained that every Lily Blanche locket is crafted entirely from precious metal and independently hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office, the UK’s official hallmarking authority.
As your locket was engraved and personalised specifically for you, it falls outside our standard 30-day returns policy unless a genuine manufacturing fault is found. We nevertheless offered to inspect the locket again should you wish to return it to us for examination and if any manufacturing fault was found, we would, of course, rectify it.
We always aim to resolve concerns fairly and professionally and are sorry that, despite our extensive correspondence, we have been unable to reach the outcome you were hoping for.

Every one of our lockets is independently tested by the Edinburgh Assay Office and carries a full UK hallmark, giving you the assurance that it has been verified as a genuine precious metal piece.
I can see that you chose our Four Photo Heart Locket. This is a unique design, and we've developed our own specialist method of fitting the photographs to ensure the locket remains both beautiful and practical.
Unlike our more traditional lockets, which have deep photo cavities and plastic photo covers, the Four Photo Heart Locket requires two different approaches to the internal photo frames. The two outer "shells" of the locket are fitted using traditional heavyweight specialist photo paper. The two inner frames, however, fold neatly into the outer shells to create the slimline profile of the locket. Because of this, they are fitted using a specialist self-adhesive photo paper.
If we were to add plastic photo covers to the inner frames, it would add significant bulk and fundamentally change the elegant design of the locket. Instead, the photographs are protected with a specialist sealant to help prevent fading and everyday wear. The design of the locket keeps the photographs securely enclosed, and I hope you'll agree that when it is opened, the four large images create a truly stunning display.
Regarding the shade of gold, pure 24-carat gold is naturally a rich, bright yellow. The differences in colour that you see between gold jewellery come from the other metals that are alloyed with the gold to alter its strength and purity. Your locket is crafted in 18-carat gold vermeil. Because 18-carat gold contains a much higher proportion of pure gold than 9-carat gold, it naturally has a richer, warmer yellow colour. This is one of the characteristics that many of our customers love about 18-carat gold vermeil.

Exquisite and well made earrings that came beautifully packaged including scented tissue paper, a polishing cloth, dainty jewellery bag and ribboned box. I had such a lovely experience with this jewellery brand. I needed to exchange a gift from my partner, and they couldn’t have been more helpful throughout the process.
