Piss poor

Made an order from the UK after they themselves reopened international shipping, you can see comments from 1 week ago that they made on their Instagram stating it themselves. They’re getting rid of all makeup so I obviously took advantage before I can never purchase it again. Today out of the blue they cancel my order in the basis they’re not doing “international shipping” which is a complete and total LIE.
I’d been purchasing limecrime since the company was founded by Doe but now that makeup is gone and their customer service is piss poor I won’t be touching the brand ever again.

Terrible Shipping Service

I ordered two makeup palettes and some extra shadows for my birthday, according to the estimated waiting time, they would arrive days in advance so it didn't bother me so much to pay for such an expensive shipment to Mexico City. It's been a month since I placed my order, my birthday has already passed and it hasn't arrived yet. I’m not buying anything again from them, more than 20 USD of shipping for this, it’s just ridiculous.

Amazing Customer Service!

I had a couple of issues with my order, first of all I made a mistake at checkout by choosing the wrong international postage and secondly USPS messed up the package by returning it to sende and let me tell you the customer service team were EXTREMELY helpful and speedy.

I was really impressed by how quickly they helped me out to cancel the first order I completed wrongly and then help by resending my second order that the USPS system messed up.

Thank you so much for the great customer service!! 💖🖤

Need to review companies before buying from....

If I had known how bad the velveteen lip products were I would have never purchased. The color is runny and takes SEVERAL coats and then it's cakey and gross. The colors also do not match the website. The red I got was so brown. Also it's 2022, how do companies not have return postage for their customers. It's such a huge inconvenience. I will never buy from them again based off this experience

Bull Sh!t

I have never experienced this sh!tty of a result in bleach kits. The unicorn bleach party kit says to leave in for 30 minuets if you have thick hair. I do. 10 minuets into the processing my head started to burn. rinsed the product out and my hair was mushy and we had to wait to brush my hair due to the immense amount of pain that I was in. and further more I have put color in since bleaching and color will not stick to my roots where the bleach primarily went.

The customer service is atrocious

The customer service is atrocious. I’ve used this brand for a few years and never really had any issues. Some of the colors are more pigmented than others, and obviously you have to shop in your hair category. I had almost platinum hair in the front so decided to get a hair tint, mainly to cool it and tone it with the oyster tint. It was supposed to be a purple/gray hue. It didn’t do anything to some of my hair and turned other parts green. When I politely reached out to customer service via email I didn’t get a reply. When I used the chat on the website I was asked 800 questions initially, then didn’t get a reply until hours later. Then the woman kept asking if my hair was bleached professionally, and it would have to be very bleached for that color to work. I would guarantee half the people using this brand don’t get their hair professionally dyed, hence the fact they are using your products in the first place. Even after explaining twice that I’ve been doing my own hair using their products for years, no reply to my actual request. I just wanted a replacement in a different shade. They need to work on their customer service, and remember your products are catered to DIY people not hair salons.

I’ve used lime crime for years and…

I’ve used lime crime for years and always been pleased with there hair dyes they’ve been the best to get extremely bright colours and always left you’re hair feeling amazing. BUT!! With using lime crime product for years I thought I’d try there bleach kit, NEVER EVER! Again!! It absolutely burnt my hair and my hair has been falling out in chunks ! I’m absolutely devastated and the hair that was left it’s all different colours , I had no choice to put the colour on there’s no way could bleach anymore after the state it left my hair in . My colour is now patchy as hell with loads different shades in because the bleach doesn’t lift properly, the only thing it will lift is you’re hair clean of you’re head ! Absolutely devastated and gutted I should of just stuck to the usual bleach kit I use.

Screw you, Unicorn Hair.

I heard AMAZING things about the Unicorn Hair products. Bought the bleach kit and the dye and spent more than I've ever spent on at hone hair dye. That ish cost me $40. Got home. Begin bleaching. 30 minutes in my hair is starting to fall apart. Whatever. I kind of expect that because, well, bleach is bad. Wash it out. Condition. Leave it alone for the night. My hair is looking goofy. Splotches of red and black and orange everywhere. Whatever. Then the blue gunk in the jar I put over it does nothing. Left it in for 50 minutes. The ends are kind of bluish purple. The rest is not. This is worse than SPLAT. I'm livid.

This makes no sense! You LOST a customer!

I placed an order on November 25th. I received a tracking/ shipping notice on November 26. My order arrived in North Las Vegas on December 2nd. It arrived in Grand Prarie Texas on December 3rd, and Memphis, TN on December 3th. Well, ain't this a "B' I live 2 minutes from Memphis, TN in Horn Lake, MS which is North Mississippi. Why was my package not delivered or shipped to me then?? Instead, it stayed at the Memphis USPS until December 8th then sent to Salt Lake City Distribution Center where it is currently at. How does this make any sense? This is why companies go out of business...because of poor service. If this is how much your customers mean to you then you will not EVER get my business again. I will to SEPHORA or ULTA for my beauty products.

I want a refund

I don't think I will be ordering from lime crime again. My order has been sitting in Vegas for a week. Shipping estimates show 4-8 days..it's been 9...and the package hasn't even been given to the USPS yet. Stop using 3rd party shipping!
I'll just order from Sally's they are more reliable.

where is my package?

The person below me got their package in 2 weeks and lives in the UK, maybe I should move there. I live in the U.S. and tomorrow will make two weeks since I ordered. No package. I emailed them to find out what was going on---its on the way. So is the second coming. Maybe he'll bring my lipstick with him. thumbs down.

Fully tracked and delivered in 2 weeks to the UK

I was a bit sceptical of buying from their website seeing some of the reviews, but then I noticed most negative reviews were from at least 2 years ago and decided it was worth the risk considering the amazing Black Friday sale they had.. I’m so glad I did!!
My order was delivered in just over 2 weeks to the UK, not bad at all considering the Black Friday/xmas delays. It was shipped promptly and I had a full tracking throughout its way.
My new lipsticks arrived in a cute little box and I couldn’t be happier!
I will definitely order from them directly from now on, it’s cheaper and they have so many shades that I couldn’t find in the UK.

Bad costomer service

I have a package I'm pretty sure has been lost. It stopped moving almost a week ago so I messaged them and got no reply. I have tried to contact them 3 times now with no luck

Shady customer service

I reported that a package marked as delivered not received. First of all, their online agent ask me to confirmed with the forwarder company, I said I did. Then their customer service agent passed my ticket to their sales manager( I m not gonna mention her name here). And OMG...this is the most shady customer service I ve ever experienced, and trust me, I buy A LOT of makeup, from indie brands to brands at places like Nordstrom/Sephora. She firstly wanted me to provide the contact of the people received this package for me (after I said they confirmed they have not received it) I did, even though I have never received request like this before with same issue from other merchants but I thought it’s reasonable. All she did was ask them if they have received the package.
( I made a mistake of which order I didn’t receive, the people at the forwarder address confirmed that they have received the other one, not the one I m missing). After everything sorted out, she says the order missed will be refunded. I asked if I can have a replacement shipment and here is what I received:
“Hello,
I'm truly sorry but if a package goes missing it is best to refund as I am not confident sending a replacement would help in this case.

Thank you,”

Seriously?! What is this” I m not confident send a replacement would help in this case” is implying? That a customer made orders worth around a thousand dollars is frauding for 64USD by reporting package lost? And here is one more thing, all her messages were like you are a suspect of doing something bad. Come on, does a customer who spend her hard earned money deserve to be treated like this?

I even called the local post office to double check with the driver for this package, and all they did is to verify if the customer lied and being shady.

I do understand that some merchants do not offer any service for order shipped to forwarder address that gone missing. However, at least maintained the basic attitude of communicate with customer without a pre-set mind. No body likes a lost package, especially the customer.

I love LC

I love LC, it's my favorite brand of cosmetics. I ordered from LC many times and I had a problem only once, not even because of their mistake (error of our post office). Nevertheless, immediately after contacting the store, they sent me the package again. I do not follow the pictures on their site, but on the IG from other customers. Since I got used to the durability and quality of their eye shadows and brushes, I have not used any from other brands.

Lime Crime Scammers

I should have read reviews before buying. Had I done this, I would have seen their tumultuous past of exposing clients' data. They've been hacked so many times. Between their lax security with my credit card and their open willingness to sell my information to the highest bidder, I regret ever attempting to do business with them.

Great customer service experience and reliable shipping to France always

Just made an order with Lime Crime and was so impressed by their customer service, Emma specifically helped me and she was truly amazing. I had a pricing issue and reached out to them via email, Emma responded so quickly and resolved the issue, I was reimbursed within 2 days. I have been ordering from Lime Crime sporadically for about 5 years now and they always deliver the products on time and quicker than expected as I have lived in France since discovering them (from Seattle originally) my only critique is that I wish they had not stopped shipping out of a French island in Canada to help fulfill the VAT tax, now there are extra taxes charged at the end and higher shipping which can't be avoided by spending any amount so I paid almost an additional 30 euros in just taxes and shipping, kind of remembering why I do not order as much in the last couple years. Not to mention I find it surprising Austrialian clients have the opportunity for free shipping after x amount spent and French don't, as they are almost equally distanced. You might want to consider a distribution center in Europe to make shipping and taxes less, otherwise I might be more inclined to find dupes for colors you have by EU brands or US brands that have established business here already.
