Fired employee because of who she followed on twitter.

LRG sacked a female employee because a trans person on twitter went through 6 years of tweets to find a tweet where the female employee showed genuine concern for females if trans was allowed to enter the female toilet. This is 100% NOT transphobic. It is an opinion, a genuine concern and a valid one. The trans person then also stalked who this person followed and reported to LRG that they followed a few accounts that they did not like. I am sickened that companies continue to bow down down to these people.

Just like everyone else

Just like everyone else, paid and waited forever and didn't get anything. It's my belief it's a scam company. Takes our money and makes the product, we demand our money back and they sell the product at a higher cost. DO NOT BUY FROM EVER.

Paid in May, now December and still no games.

Said I would have my games in December. It is 12-31-2022 5:57pm and no games. It has almost been a year. I have written and written and same old stall. They have our money and it is long gone and they still can't deliver. What a farce. Maybe they are saving up to pay for the postage to sent them to me, one can always hope. But I doubt it. They are smart, they take the money up front and then wait months, months to long for one to file a dispute with the card company. I guess that is the only way they can stay in business. Floating along on their customers money.

Price gouging, insane wait times, buying product pre manufacturing, poor quality

When companies like Super Rare Games and Special Reserve Games exist, with (in my experience) good customer service and high quality collectors editions, it really helps show the horrendous quality and service of LRG. The quality of items and lack of thought of their collectors editions is truly terrible, with insanely high prices. In the end it’s junk thrown into a box without thought. I don’t mind waiting a few months for a release, but collecting the money upfront, before manufacturing, and getting the product an entire year later, is highly suspicious. Their products and business practices keep getting worse. The price gouging and poor quality and ten month wait times-I can’t support this company anymore. I now pray that the games I love will be published by Special Reserve Games or Super Rare, because LRG is terrible. I hope they take stock and improve and start to release quality products-I would love that and be happy to support them again, but the way the business is run feels like it should be illegal. Consumers are there to buy product, not be investors in the product to fund its creation. If that want investors, there are places like Kickstarter, for that. But to operate a store like Kickstarter is sketchy as hell, combined with price gouging and extremely poor quality.
I don’t recommend anyone buy from them until LRG changes their ways.

Hope you like waiting!

I wish I’d known before ordering how long it takes for them to actually fulfill an order. Still waiting on a game I ordered in January. I did get emails within the last few weeks reminding me to make sure my address is current, (almost as if they know they take way too long getting products ready for customers…) and indicating my order was maybe somewhere in the realm of being ready.
Not holding my breath. 11 months and counting, waiting for a game I could’ve just played digitally. I don’t even remember what I’m supposed to be getting with my physical copy at this point and I don’t really care. It’s absolutely not worth it.
Date of experience? That’d be January 2022 - ????

Censored products and slow shipping

This company releases censored versions of products that were released in their original versions in Europe, Asia, Japan, etc. Buy the import versions with English options instead of buying censored versions. One example is the Neo Geo Pocket Selection Vol. 1 for the Switch which has a censored cover compared to the European and Japanese covers. This company obviously does not care about preservation if they knowingly alter the original art for censorship purposes. Also, the shipping times are very slow.

The clues in the name “limited” is the service their support team provide and “Run” away is a good piece of advice if you consider doing business with them.

I understand console game preservation is important topic to those who would consider using them however such an important issue should have the stewardship of a honest and prompt company.
Waiting 17 months for a switch game with no signs of it being ready to be shipped. Getting a refund was a painful experience littered with lies and stalling tactics.

Avoid if you can.

You may have to wait longer than you think!

Know that you will wait!

I wish I had checked reviews before placing an order. Hopefully this helps people who have not yet made an order.

I placed a pre-order way back in Feb 2021. When I reached out after a year of waiting I recieved a rude response and was told an update had just gone out, which came two days later and had untruthfuly stated that the item had begun shipping "in waves".

Check the comments on any of their products and you will see unhappy customers in every single one. With no replies from the company.

It's been almost two years now and I am growing more frustrated every day. Especially when I see them offering more and more pre-orders without fulfilling the ones already promised.

If I was kept in the loop with what is happening and had a reasonable explanation there would be little problems other than a minor annoyance. Unfortunately I feel like the company is not being honest and doesn't care to inform their customers what is going on.

Very disappointing. If you are thinking of purchasing from them, please do yourself a favor and know that it is very likely you will have to wait longer than expected.

A side note they opened a physical store during this time and I can't help but think our pre orders funded this shop.

UPDATE: Got my orders and they are awesome. Yes waited almost two years for one but I am happy with what I got. If this company would just communicate better I'm sure I don't just speak for myself when I say we would be chill. Anyway changing my rating now that I got my gear and love it.

Seems like a scam

On their website it says it can take up to 9 months for a pre-order to be shipped. I ordered mine 10 months ago and it's still listed as "in production" which means it's nowhere near shipping. I contacted customer support to see if I could get an ETA and all I got was a computer generated response that didn't answer my question at all. There's no option to cancel your order either. At this point there's no evidence telling me that this isn't a scam.
