Awful returns, patronising customer service

I ordered a skirt for a Christmas event with enough time allowed for delivery, it did not arrive on time. Following the instructions given on their website to cancel an order:
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Orders can only be cancelled if they've not been shipped yet.
- If the product has been shipped, customers must refuse delivery and wait for the product to be returned to our warehouse before a refund can be processed. In this case, please in mind that the shipping costs will be deducted from your total refund

I refused delivery with UPS and requested the parcel be returned to sender, as the policy stated I 'must' do.

UPS then, judging by the daily emails they sent me, had difficulty initiating the return with Lindy Bop and getting them to provide the relevant customs information. I contacted Lindy Bop twice about this and was assured they would handle it by Lucie. The emails finally stopped so I assumed things were in motion and I would next receive the confirmation that the return had been delivered.

Wrong. UPS informed me they were unable to deliver the return and had destroyed the parcel. Naturally I reached back out to Lindy Bop, as I had followed their stated instructions exactly, and contacted them twice during the process, to say I was concerned I would not get my refund despite following their instructions.

I received a patronising email from Helena, using terms of endearment and emojis the seriousness of the communication did not warrant. Helena also effectively called me rude for taking a firm tone when I was entirely civil, just not friendly, and for implying the issue and lack of refund was their fault (a misleading cancellation policy listed on their website certainly is). Helena additionally stated 'we do not offer refund services' and between that and the other reviews here I'm expecting to need to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back.

Lucie has now taken over the email chain again, but I've rather lost hope with it all.

Lindy Bop used to be a firm favourite of mine back when they were based in the UK but I won't be shopping there again after this experience.

Fast shipping, exactly correct order

Personally, I had a very good experience ordering clothing from Lindy Bop. I ordered a coat and a dress from my favorite brand (Collectif), now sadly out of business - but there are still a few pieces here and there from 3rd party sellers like Lindy Bop. I am very familiar with Collectif's sizing so I was confident the items would fit. The shipping was *fast*. It took FOUR DAYS to get to me from Poland! Dude, that's less time than a lot of US stores take to get clothing to me. The items were exactly what I had ordered. This is not on Lindy Bop, but unfortunately the coat wasn't up to Collectif's former standard of quality. I'm still going to keep it because it's not bad, just ... not as soft and wooly as the same coat I bought from them like, 8 years back.
Do check returns policy if you're not sure of sizing, since the items are shipped from outside the US and return shipping might potentially be costly?
I had a very good experience overall and would recommend Lindy Bop.eu. Hope that's helpful if you're trying to decide.

Very happy customer!

Luckily Lindy Bop still had it - and it was also cheaper than instore in London last year. Shipping was extremely fast, just about a couple of days from Spain to Germany, packed well and also very affordable, the coat is exactly the original quality, so I am such a happy customer! Cheap knock-offs of the pictures

The dress I got is supposed to be the same one I ordered, but the colors in the pictures were photoshopped to be very bright and vibrant blue, instead I got a dark blue dress. The buttons on the dress were completely different (brown wooden buttons instead of blue) and a totally different belt was given with the dress. These were no honest mistakes, they tried to pass it off as in the picture.
The silhouette was off too. I got a top too, but the silhouette looked more like a blown out costume than a classic vintage blouse like they showed in the picture.

Everything felt cheap. I was trying to contact the customer service about it, but I couldn't find it anywere.

awful return service

awful return service ; your order comes from Bareclona and is returned to Poland...? Why? costs a fortune, claims not to have received package, despite sending by tracked post. 3 months later no sign of refund. not the Lindy Bop I loved

Did not honour price after successful transaction

Did not honour price I paid, made excuses and then refunded after items had become unavailable.
I placed an order on Boxing Day, after having received an email regarding a 60% sale. 60% were taken off the item price, labelled as FLASH CHRISTMAS SALE 60% OFF.
I placed my order and paid for it.
A few days later, their customer service representative emailed me and said that the 60% that were taken off my order were accidental and that I would have to pay the full price, as that was presumably already including the flash sale discount (which is unrealistic, as I could get those items from the original manufacturer at the same price). Anyway - after a long email chain, during which I asked them again and again to honour the price that was advertised and which I paid, they issued a refund, told me that one of the items had already sold, that I could place another order for the remaining items at the original price, but that I would have to pay customs and duty on it, on top of the £13 shipping fees. I will therefore give this website a wide berth and order from the original manufacturer directly.
