First of all, you made a mistake writing my surname. I wish to see how you are doing PDI checks. Probably not very professionally. My bike definitely wasn't checked by a competentive technician.
Bad points found after riding it home:
Broken indicator light. Barely attached to the bike
Quickshifter 10mm nuts where loose
One plastic fairing was loose ( metal sleeve is missing )
Light reflector was glued on the panniers racking ( metal clips missing ) Fell of when I was cleaning the bike
2 rubber washers of the windscreen are missing
Not sure how it passed MOT. Possible doggy MOT.
Check bikes carefully before buying.

All the team at lings were verry helpful with me on selecting my new motorcycle, I thought they would have been fed up with how many times I visited the shop and how many times I changed my mind on what bike to get,but I was always greeted with a smile 😃 Keep up the good work,

Was well looked after by the staff, my only bugbear is that my keyless ignition remote didn’t work properly once home. A new battery solved the issue. Maybe all keyless remotes should have new batteries fitted at point of sale? No issues other than this. The quality, fit and finish of Triumph motorcycles is second to none in my opinion.

Sorry this might be long...
I was thinking of getting a Thruxton RS but also liked
the BMW R nine T Racer. Saw Lings Ipswich had a second hand BMW R nine T Racer online so went there and met the salesman ..... who was friendly.
After having a chat about the bike was asked if I wanted to take it out for a test ride.
Had to wait a few days as bike needed to be checked over before I took it out. All good so far...
Took Bike out came back to Lings started looking more at the bike outside in the daylight and noticed it wasn't as clean as it looked in the showroom, also the bike wasn't OE spec and I just wasn't sure about it and told the salesman I'll think about it.
Few days later received an email from salesman.... if I was still interested in the bike. I was still unsure but after looking into the changes to the bike
(mainly airbox removed with all original spares in a box)
I thought I'll have one more look at it to decide if it was the bike for me. Got to Lings, bike had been cleaned so all looked good. I went through box of spares looked at documents, all seemed good so I struck a deal with the salesman.... and paid £250 deposit. Went home all happy and exited looking to pick the bike up in a week or two after it's been serviced. Received and sent back all signed paperwork, then a couple of days later phoned salesman.... to see when I could pick the bike up, was told it was all ready... Brilliant. Organised I would pop over next day (Saturday) to pick up parts in box and then pick up the bike on Tuesday.
Paid for bike in full with bank transfer straight away, insured bike for Tuesday, also I bought a helmet online that goes with the bike.
Next day all excited, went to Lings to pick up the box of spares... This is where it just goes completely bent...
Met salesman he said I'll just get the spares in the box, box was all battered and ripped so he went to tape it up, while he was doing that I went to look at the bike. All looked good at first then I noticed the rear seat cowl not only had a large dirt stain on it but it was also dented in two places. Gutted. Pointed this out to the salesman.... he couldn't believe it said that wasn't there before. Another guy came over took some pictures saying to salesman we'll check the cameras to see how this happened. All I was thinking was I wouldn't be picking the bike up now on Tuesday because it will have to be fixed. Was told they needed to phone the dealer principal because of the damage so I waited by the bike for a bit for the salesman.... to return to tell me how long it would be to fix it. Salesman returned with the manager who said straight away he could not repair it as they have not got the money in it, saying they could only get the part in America and it would cost £500. Obviously I wasn't expecting that response as the bike had been damaged since I last saw it I thought he would just apologise and say we will sort it out.
Didn't even say sorry. It was like he expected me to just take it away damaged so I just said I'll have my money back and straight away he said OK.
I cannot tell you how upset, angry, frustrated, and shocked I felt. I had to walk out the shop and let my wife deal with getting the money back. In all my years of buying motorcycles and I've had a few, I have never had such a bad experience as dealing with Lings Ipswich. I don't normally bother righting many reviews but this still bothers me nearly a week later.
Yeah all bikes do come with wear and tear but not after you’ve already paid for it!!!🤷♂️

Called in to look at the Tiger 900 at Lings Triumph Ipswich. I was shown by Fraser in sales the details of a demo bike they had. It was prepared for a ride by myself and also a detailed video to my e mail. I decided on a part exchange as I liked the bike very much. Fraser gave a price and I returned home. I was never pressured and asked for a better deal which suited us both the next day.
An order was placed I was kept updated and all papers were sent to my email for signature and 2 weeks later collected my new Tiger.
Great service and hope this continues when returning for my services .
Very satisfied and thanks Fraser.

Quite a straightforward transaction and went smoothly, my only gripe was that I had to wipe off the greasy finger marks off the silencers and side covers caused when the mid foot controls were fitted.
My thanks to Leon and Co for an easy purchase.
