Went to Ipswich hyundai first. Phoned afterwards to make appointment to test drive Ioniq The receptionist said she would ask the salesman to call me at 3pm. No call so husband called next day to be told salesman was too busy. Okay let's go to Lowestoft instead, what a difference. Just by initial phone chat I knew Gary was the right person to talk to and went to meet him next day . No pressure just his knowledge and experience and friendly demeanour, had a test drive , loved the car and signed on the dotted line. If you want a pleasurable experience with no pressure buy a Hyundai or Honda from Gary Hedge at Lings Lowestoft

Mark was a really nice guy to work through our car purchase. He had time to listen to our needs and had everything ready as planned. We were traveling 3 hours to pick up our new car and it was worth the time. I feel I could lift the phone 6 months later and he will just be as helpful.

Overall I had a good experience with Lings mainly due to Gary, the sales rep,
I told him exactly the car I wanted and left him looking for that specific car, although admittedly there were very few around. Gary kept me updated regularly but the car I wanted was not available anywhere. Ironically, one day the exact vehicle I required arrived out of the blue at the dealership I was dealing with. I saw it online and paid a holding deposit. Two days later I test drove it and bought it. Gary was helpful at all times and did not pressure me at all. There was very little room for negotiation but I paid what the car was worth.
Many thanks to Gary for his assistance.,,,,the car is excellent.

We bought a new Honda Jazz automatic. Due to Covid things had obviously had to change. No test drive with the rep. Personally l was not happy to drive a new car alone as it was our first automatic car, but it couldn’t be helped. Many gadgets & how to drive the car were explained to us as best as they could be. There were One or two little things that we had forgotten about later & we had to ring up the rep. it was soon sorted though. She was very helpful.
It’s nice to do business with a family run company, they are highly recommended. A great deal with them is the 5 yrs free service.
We are very happy with the Honda Jazz so far & find it a lovely car to drive.

Considering covid 19 restrictions in place at the time of my purchase it was OK
Could of done with more interaction between the sales person/ customer but understand the difficulty of the situation with covid
For the last 10 years I have been the customer of a Mercedes franchise and I thinks Lings has a bit of a way to go, however, I do understand the difficulties staff are having to work with during the pandemic

I found my purchase easy and simple, although I expected difficulties in the middle of the pandemic lockdown. It was good value and I am pleased with the car's preparation and warranty. There were drawbacks on delivery, the lack of the very expensive second key and the the wheel locking nut key, but these were caused by the previous careless owner rather than by Lings staff.

Everything seemed fine until I got my two year old car home and realised that the vehicle had not been serviced. A phone call to the dealership was required to arrange for a service, post handover, but I was disappointed. One expects certain standards when going to a main dealership.
