Perfect!

So I bought a Windows VPS from this company to keep live and active 24/7 so staff could login and get work done that needed to be done on a remote machine. This company was the only one with a VPS in the location I needed with a fair price.

I had an issue where I couldn't log back in with RDP after some Windows updates and restart but I could get in the VNC in their backend admin portal. Once in VNC I realised that there was no network on Windows. The initial support reply was that the service is unmanaged. Fair enough as I pay a low price for a low powered VPS. But they pointed me in the right direction how to fix it and explaind why it happened. I Googled and yep this can happen with a restart. It's a Windows issue it's not the company's fault.

I followed the instructions. Took 1 minute to have the internet back on the VPS in VNC and RDP worked again instantly.

Keep up the good work guys!

So my reviews it to even the odds for them as this is a great company! It seems like there are a bunch of complaints on here and not many positive reviews. I guess Linveo doesn't do chase reviews actively so of course you just get the people who always need to bad mouth something when it was 99.5% good but that tiny thing triggered them lol. Hopefully this helps you guys out! :)

Terrible Experience with Linveo – Avoid at All Costs!

I purchased an AMD KVM VPS (4GB) from Linveo on August 29, 2024, and it has been a disaster from the start. Here's why:

Frequent Downtime:

The VPS went down multiple times, starting on September 19, 2024.
On September 26, 2024, the VPS was down again. Their response? "The internet is not down for these servers. Google's traffic is not reaching our ASN right now." Completely unhelpful.
On December 4, 2024, the Dallas data center went offline, and the issue remained unresolved for hours.
Unresolved Networking Issues:
On December 15, 2024, the VPS was down yet again, and I discovered the IP was unreachable from my home network. My ISP confirmed it was an issue with Linveo's network. Despite providing this information, Linveo ignored my concerns and closed my ticket (#21763) without fixing the problem.

Terrible Customer Support:
Their support team is unresponsive and dismissive. Instead of helping, they simply close tickets without resolving issues. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable for a hosting provider.

Unreliable Service:
For a VPS provider, reliability is critical. Linveo has failed to deliver even the basic expectation of a stable and accessible server.

Final Thoughts:
Linveo is one of the worst VPS providers I’ve ever used. Their service is unreliable, and their customer support is non-existent. I strongly advise anyone considering Linveo to look elsewhere. Don’t waste your money or time.

Having such a high frequency of downtime

I rented the VPS on October 24. On October 26, it went down for 4 hours and 4 minutes, and on October 30, it experienced downtime for 1 hour. Having such a high frequency of downtime within just a few days is unacceptable.

It's okay

It's okay. Support is alright. They will respond within hours most of the time. Really wish their all their plans were billed monthly and quarterly (small discount for quarterly), this would put them above most competitors. Most people don't want to make an annual commitment. There is no public facing status page which is disappointing I must say, first host I came around that did not have this. I don't know how customers are meant to know if Linveo is within their 99.9% uptime guarantee in their ToS if they don't have one... Customers are not notified for any scheduled downtime that's like 10 minutes, I have always been notified with other providers, this is a first. People should have a chance of seeing the status before they purchase a service. This is why a status page is needed, scheduled maintenances can be listed. Otherwise, their VPS and network is mostly as stated. They recently added an Pheonix location, but I don't know why they have not decided to upgrade the network in Columbus to match the other locations to 10 Gbps. On some of their shared hosting, it mentions "Unlimited E-mails", I would like to amplify that this should not be taken literally. Their support mentions that it's not the best tool for the job if you want to use the SMTP servers to send a lot of e-mails.

Wow!

I've been with linveo for some time now, started with shared hosting then moved to VPS hosting and now into a dedicated server! I've never had issues and the team is fast to help, however it does seem like support is only USA time, so you might want to take that into account.
