Disappointing Experience
Poor customer service and delivery system by Lion Brand. After submitting an online order no ETA was provided one week later. Per customer service they had weather challenges in Georgia which I understood. After another week and no response I emailed the company to cancel the order. Still no response several days later followed by 2 vm. Finally was able to speak with a real representative who said the order was dispatched yesterday.
The whole experience is disappointing. The company’s head office needs to investigate the challenges they have particularly staffing and tech systems otherwise customers will go elsewhere.
I will not order from this company again. I will purchase in store.
Yarn was okay
The customer service was extremely poor. It took 10 days for shipping and handling to notify me they were putting my yarn in the mail. I had no communications with Lion Brand before this. I find this unacceptable, considering I paid $6 for this. Advertising and sales email me regularly. They might hold an inservice for the shipping/handling department about customer communication techniques (half star).
The yarn is a pretty color and has a nice texture. It splits easily and slows a person down when crocheting (three stars for ease of use, color and texture).
Missing skein, no response
My order was missing one skein of yarn (as well as multiple skeins that were refunded due to incorrect website information and availability). I reached out via email about the missing skein and received an automated reply that they were experiencing a large volume of emails and would respond as soon as they could. Several days later I received a “DO NOT REPLY” email stating a representative had already sent a ticketed response (that I never received) and to reply to that ticket or else the issue would be closed. I replied stating I did not receive the representative’s email to no response. I followed up with the original support email several times after that, again, with no response. My missing skein of yarn is still missing at the point of writing this review, which was prompted by their request for review of my purchase.
You'll Never See Your Order
Placed an order 2.5 weeks ago. Has not shipped. No response from customer service. I'm new to crochet and forsee myself ordering loads in the future, but not from this company again. What an poor way to do business.
Exactly the same as everyone else
Exactly the same as everyone else. Really wish i had checked here first. I would never have ordered from them. I will take it up with my credit card company as this really looks like fraud. Has anyone actually got the yarn or their money back?
I received the wrong order
I received the wrong order: 2 skeins of multicolor instead of the 23 skeins of different solid colors I ordered. I have emailed multiple times looking for a refund with only a “we are super busy and will get to you eventually” boilerplate reply. After 2 1/2 weeks of near silence, I filed a dispute with my CC company and am waiting for a resolution.
Non-existent customer service
I received someone else’s order and it took me well over a week to get ahold of someone at Lion to address it. That was two weeks ago and I have yet to receive any confirmation that it has been corrected. That’s almost $100 that I’ve lost and am yet to recoup.
Items never arrived, no customer service
Placed my order 2.5 weeks ago. I was charged and received a confirmation email. My order hasn't shipped and I have not been able to get in contact with anyone at the company. I've sent several emails, called a few times, left a couple of voicemails, etc. No one answers, responds, returns the call. It's been over a week since I've tried to get in touch with them.
I finally took to Instagram but they are ignoring my DMs, so I started commenting on their posts since they are still posting daily there. I saw another customer doing the same for the same reason. They are deleting both mine and the other customer's comments.
Lacking customer service
They have great yarn but customer service is non-existent! I reached out twice to cancel an order and never heard back. Luckily I was able to find projects to put my excess yarn to use but good luck contacting anyone if you need them!
Can't get to speak to a real person
I placed an order on jan 11th, it is now jan 27th and my order has not shipped and I cannot get any response from the company about why, or a refund. They do not reply to emails, they have a horrible AI chat bot who is useless, and calling from the uk is impossible as you can't speak to anyone. Very disappointing customer service.
LION Brand Wool EASE Aire is a useless…
LION Brand Wool EASE Aire is a useless yarn. It is essentially one or two strings with fuzz wrapped around it. The fuzz comes off as you k it, stickes together so you can't frog a mistake and is generally bad. One skein had areas of 2-3 feet without fuss at all and a huge area with the fuzz, not even wound on but just draped on..completely unusable. I have tried to contact them and made a ticket but only response is an email that they are busy. I will never buy Lion Brand again. I have posted this in fa ebook as well.

Be cautious when ordering from Lion Brand. I was charged immediately but the order has not been processed or shipped. It is almost impossible to contact them. Replies are automated emails.
After 8 days, I attempted to cancel the order. Only received the automated reply that the window to cancel is closed. Can't find out anything else and get no response to my inquiries. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company.

I received the wrong order. When I contacted them they said they would send me out a replacement however it’s been it’s been 18 days and my order has not shipped.
Unreliable scamming company
I ordered from Lion brand in November. Received a tracking number which goes to fedex but when I go to track it tells me they have not received the package. Emails to customer service ignored, messages on social media ignored. Clearly a scamming company who cannot be trusted.

I bought a gift certificate for my soon-to-be daughter in law and found the process very straightforward,easy and fast. I would definitely recommend this process.

I did not understand the order was composed of three different types of yarn I now have used two types of yarn but that was after I cut the looped yarn open so I could knit no luck I slipper socks. I currently have the Turboo yarn and simply do not like it I have tried to knit mittens but I have frogged them as I just did not like the results I am 80 and have been knitting since I was18. I love Lion Brand yarns
I love Lion Brand yarns. I just finished making the Polar Cuff Coat with Go for Fleece Sherpa Yarn and I LOVE IT! It is a darling sweater/coat and oh so comfy and warm made with the sherpa yarn. Looking forward to expanding my cold weather wardrobe with more fun projects.
Do not buy from these cowboys!
Ordered 4 December now 18 December and no delivery. Emailed 3 times to customer support and not one reply. Paid nearly £90 for this product for Christmas and it looks like it's not going to arrive. Shocking service, shocking company. I wish I had never ordered from these clowns...
