Poor customer service
I would like to take this opportunity to review my shopping experience and voice my displeasure at a catalogue of errors and faults with your service.
Having made an order on the 4th of May, i was informed that the item would be dispatched within 2 working days. Upon waiting a week for the delivery and receiving no tracking number to follow my orders progress, i took it upon myself to email your customer service department to investigate.
Following a 2 day wait for a response, i was informed that the item was out of stock (even though funds had already been withdrawn from my account) and informed of my options. Believing a direct line of contact now being made, i replied voicing my concerns yet wishing to continue with the purchase if a rough timescale and clarity regarding the matter could be provided. At this moment in time, i have yet to receive a reply.
I therefore decided to phone your customer service department, only to be informed that lines were busy and to leave my details and a employee once free would call me back. Having waited another 2-3 hours i called back again.
This time i managed to speak to a member of staff finally. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide any valid reasons for this debacle, offer any insight as to potential replenishment of stock, offer any discount, free delivery or minimal gift as an act of goodwill in the meantime for order to arrive.
Being frank, minimal sincerity regarding problems i have encountered.
Therefore, having zero alternative and being quite honest any intention to hand over my hard earned money to a company which has minimal concerns for its customers and there shopping experience, i requested a refund.
To make matters worse my baby nephew has to wait for a christening present due to your ineptitude.
The British Lions name should not be associated with such woeful regard for its loyal supporters.
