I have previously ordered from this site 3 times and via their old amazon shop a few more.

Haven't received any shipping confirmation and the site has gone down. After reading the reviews and seeing the potentiality of an exit-scam happening, I'll be sure to report back if the product has not been received.

However, I haven't had an issue previously and it's the Christmas period.

Update: after digging through my emails I have found that Liquid Essence closed on the 1st of November with a considerable amount of emails prior advising of this. I'll be reaching out to PayPal. The site is down so you can't order anymore.

Never had any issue with this company, just had a delivery today a week after ordering.

Norfolk Trading Standards report Liquid Essences ethanol is not food grade as advertised. They do not operate out of the UK as they purport, and food/medicinal products created with their ethanol should be disposed of. You can report their scamming behaviour to Action Fraud, the UK national fraud office, using their online fraud reporting tool or by calling 0300 123 2040.

the ethanol does not do any harm to the body, never felt sick after making any sort of beverage or food with it. i mean yeah alcohol does do harm to the body but the warning signs i think are just to say “don’t drink this PURE”. probably because some idiots tried to drink it pure, which you’re not supposed to do.
you can use it for experiments, food and drink and just for disinfecting stuff which i find quite useful.

Alex is taking payment but not provided the good. He will take your money, ignore your email, and close up shop.

I bought alcohol kit to make at home and i have not received my item it was a 5 litre organic extraction. this is a terrible company they haven't replied to any of my emails at all and haven't compensated me for my loss. this company will not get anything else from me again, i encourage anyone thinking to buy anything from this site to look elsewhere because more than likely you will not get what you want and the will steal your money without reason. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!!!!

Previously ive had great experiences with this company. But my most recent order on 29th September has been left unfulfilled although payment has been taken. Alex the site owner has not replied to any of my emails. Now that he is winding down the site I believe he is going to "exit-scam"

Sent on Evri. Parcel didn't arrive and was returned to sender. I get that that wasn't wholly their fault, but any company using Evri deserves all the negative responses, not least when the £4.95 charge is stated as "standard postage". There is nothing standard about that when using Evri.

Anyway, things go wrong, but it is then how they are resolved that is the more important thing.....

3 emails. 1 contact via their contact form on their website. Messages left on mobile number on website. No response at all. Nothing.

Raised a dispute with Paypal so will see if the money is returned.

Awful, fraudulent company selling purportedly food grade ethanol that it transpires is medical grade and NOT SAFE for consumption. Herbal colleagues beware. I'm now going to throw away the small number of medicines I had made with this stuff, and I'm counting my blessings I hadn't done much with it. Lesson learned - if it seems too good to be true, it probably is!

Never had an issue ever with my orders and I order every other month and always delivered withing a few days if anything evri can be a bit slow but that's minor it gets here every order

Sells FAKE ethanol and put food grade on the label.

This is dangerous and an evil practice, people look for this product to produce medicine they think will help them and your selling fake cheap ethanol with toxic compounds in it.

Awful. Don’t answer e-mails, courier saying the goods were not packaged properly so can’t deliver. Never will I order from them again.

I had ordered from this company at many times before and never had issues. HOWEVER I have ordered five times over the last month and various excuses have been given for nit sending my items? The last two being they could not print an address label! Unbelievable, maybe they have no stock- if so just tell me!!

Ordered organic grain ethanol for masking tinctures. Never received the order. Contacted them via email multiple times so eventually raised it through PayPal and had a gloriously badly worded completely misguided patronising reply including the terms ‘my dear’. Wasted hours gathering the evidence that they hadn’t ever shipped my order to their courier and finally PayPal reimbursed me. Cowboys. Best avoided.

Never received my order , I emailed them, sent a message through their website and tried to call but never received a reply, luckily I paid with PayPal so i opened a dispute through them for a refund or I'd be out of pocket and still have nothing from liquid essences .

I like it when a company goes the extra mile! Especially one that's been given a bad wrap. I had an initial problem and it wasn't until then that I found all the negative reviews - which made me worry i'd been swindled...

Anyway. I reached out, and although it took a couple of days to get a reply, the issue was resolved. I had really great communication and generosity from a company who could have just ignored the issue. And having read the reviews I felt even more compelled to publicly thank Liquid Essences and hopefully reassure customers that there is a real human at the other end!

This is not a real company, they dont answer emails and dont even provide a company number. They claim there alcohol is organic food grade but provide nothing to back it up, am very concerned about this alcohol being dangerous. The website needs to be shutdown ASAP.
