Stay away - don’t waste your time with unfinished stories!!

I spent hours reading a story (10 long chapters). It was pretty good and then it ended suddenly in the middle of the story with no closure whatsoever!!! It wasn’t a type of a loose ending either. It’s clear the author didn’t finish it and it’s not something that was written recently either. There are comments that people left long ago asking the author to continue the story. This is very disrespectful and inconsiderate to the readers!! It is extremely frustrating and I strongly advise people to stay away from this site!!! 😡

Hoarding all AD money for themselves

Hoarding all AD money for themselves, giving authors nothing. Not even links to sites where they can get paid. Apart from that, their moderation is horrible. My story has been stuck in pending for over a month.
Don't waste your time publishing there.

Great site, horrible admins

Same as others said. The site itself is a wonderful place to share your work with readers for free while the advertising revenue goes to the website owners. There is a large user base and active writing forums, but the admin is a nightmare. On other websites like Wix and Wordpress you can control your content, but Literotica content gets bottlenecked by ghostly admins who are mysterious gatekeepers rather than active and engaged with the writers that keep their website alive. Stories get delayed for the limited genre selections (and Heaven forbid, cross-genre works), and robotic, impersonal replies from the admins make it a craps shoot every time you try to post a new story. The readers are also finnicky in the comments but I accept that more readily as part of being a writer. But the last straw with unresponsive admins was when they accidentally deleted an entire series I was trying to improve through revision. I have hardly posted since then because I lost so much work I had done in the editor directly. Later, I tried to post in the forums to ask for an alternative to Literotica, but the post was deleted by an admin, characteristically without reply.

Very poor site

There are many things wrong with the site. The admins never respond to messages, people get banned and never told why. It appears that if you are a long standing author you get priority treatment, more so if you are American. I left the site several months ago and will not be returning, it is run by incompetent morons who do nothing for the writers who submit stories. If you want examples then look through the forums, see how some of the moderators/admins reply to people.

unfair standards & biased admins

As an author who spent a lot of time writing stories (which were greatly appreciated in other places), I didn't appreciate the way the admins treated me. They only allow you to pick one category for your story, along with a limited number of tags. This would have been fine if I wasn't punished for using the 'wrong' one. Nobody ever told me where a story like mine was to be placed, leaving me to take a guess. On top of this, the admin who reviewed my story had clearly not read any more than the first paragraph... The "advice" I was given was to add punctuation. It HAD punctuation, it was written properly with complete sentences, and had correct word usage. It has been proofread and ran through Grammarly more than once.
What I've gathered from my first-time experience trying to share my story to this platform, I am not welcome. Compared to some of the things that have been accepted from other people, my story was more than correct. How can spelling errors, incorrect word usage, switching between past and present tense at inappropriate times, etc. get through when mine couldn't? The admins have proven their lack of acceptance of styles unique to authors. They haven't even tried to hide the biases, all the goof-ups are clear to see in the stories they allow.
