At Little Lab Investigators we are all about the fun and exciting world of STEM for preschool and primary school age children. We know how little minds work and are passionate about fostering their curiosity and understanding of the world around them. Run by Bio-science graduates and fully qualified science teachers, we are experienced in putting together sessions that will not only be fun, engaging and hands on, but your little scientists will gain a whole host of other important skills needed for life, learning and beyond. We also strongly encourage parental participation as we know that exploring and investigating together can improve confidence and self-esteem, along with increased enthusiasm for learning. We understand the importance of fostering a love of learning and the positive impact this has on future outcomes. But most importantly we love working with young people and watching them develop and grow.

Fantastic bubble workshop with my 3 year old. I was concerned he might be too young for it but the lady running it really pitched it for all age groups to enjoy and he is desperate to go back again soon

Hidden Gem
My daughter and her friends had an absolute ball at Little Lab Investigators for their slime workshop over the weekend. The little lab coat and goggles really added to the experience. Girls running the class were absolutely lovely and so welcoming. Very new building so was slightly hard to find due to limited signage at the moment however I'm sure this will be rectified as the venue gets busier. Definitely a hidden gem and we will be back....according to my daughter she's coming back every week!

Attended a slime workshop with my 5 yr old and 3 yr old and they had a great time. The facilitators were really friendly and kept all the kids engaged. The boys didnt want to leave and are very keen to go back!

A great experience
We had a great experience at Little Lab. We took my daughter and her 4 friends for the slime making class and they all had an absolute ball. Both girls were great with the kids and made it a fun 45 minutes. A brilliant way to allow the kids to do messy play without messing up the house!

Booked for my son’s 8th birthday party and both he and his friends had a great time. Ashley was fantastic at explaining the experiments in a fun and exciting way, and has such a good way with kids. Everyone who attended loved it (best party ever, apparently ☺️) and it was nice to do something slightly different. Communication and booking process was faultless, and so easy. We’ll definitely be booking future sessions with LLI!!

Fun and informative science classes
Booked in for sessions at Little Lab Investigators as my daughter loves watching Emily's Wonder Lab on Netflix. Both myself and my daughter have loved the sessions we have attended so far - the lab coats and goggles for all children being a total highlight! They have been so fun and informative and have encouraged my daughter to want to learn and understand even more about science. We have booked in for summer sessions and look forward to attending regularly from now on!

4th birthday party
Booked for my son’s 4th birthday party and I was so impressed. All the kids had such a great time and my little boy said it was the best day ever! Ashley was so knowledgeable and great with the kids, managing to keep all 14 of the 4 year olds fully engaged for the full session !
All the other parents commented on what a great idea it was for a party and how well it all went. Great communication before the party as well and I honestly couldn’t recommend enough!

The best birthday party EVER!
We had little lab investigators round for my sons 5th party and he had the best time EVER… and so did all his friends. Ashley is so friendly , knowledgable and was brilliant with the kids . She kept their attention for the full time she was here, which must be some sort of wizardry . My littlest was even able to take part and she made sure he had his own wee space and equipment , which he loved! I was so late to confirm numbers (due to Easter holidays) but this wasn’t a problem ❤️ thank you so so much for making my sons birthday really special ❤️ if your looking for a party for your kids … I would 100% recommend little lab investigators!

Great idea if you're looking for something a bit different to do! All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the activities were great fun. Bonus points for having tea/coffee/juice served before the session started 👌🏻 Already recommended to friends, and will definitely be back!

“The best science school ever” - Rae ❤️
We have attended two classes so far and they have both been amazing! It’s difficult to keep my 4yr old occupied for a long period of time (like most 4yr olds lol) but she has sat for the full hour, amazed, all ears and following instructions closely.. that’s enough for me to return every single month for these amazing science classes. Ashley & Siobhan are amazing with the kids!! All the experiments have been so fun & Rae absolutely loves that she gets her very own lab coat and glasses 👩🏼🔬 10/10 from us & see you in April for germ detectives 👏🏼

What a fabulous session for kids
What a fabulous session for kids !
This was something different to the usual kids classes and incorporated some learning for the kids (and adults !) it was so well planned out and interactive for the kids and the age range went from around 3 which my little one was to quite a few years older and all kids were able to participate at their level! They loved getting into the role with their lab coats and glasses and the experiments were great to get them engaging and using their imagination and creative skills too! We loved it and will defo book more sessions !
