Two years after they attempted to end my tenancy illegally, I have still not been offered any explanation or the basis on which Julius, owner of this scammy letting agency, claimed my tenancy with them was no longer valid, which is very disappointing as they were very quick to rebut my initial review left here.

For those who want to get the hang of renting from Julius, here’s a short version of my experience: one month after moving in, Julius said I had to vacate by the end of the following month despite the 6-month fixed term contract, because they claimed the head landlord had terminated their contract and the contract I had with them would expire. I offered to surrender at a cost which they rejected so I continued to stay as according to the housing act mh tenancy would continue to be valid. Hot water and wifi were then shut off for a month.

Why they think they could unilaterally cancel a contract is beyond me and I still look forward to an explanation. Julius, will you let me know?

Live-in have been very helpful in helping me find somewhere to stay. Eugene was great at showing me around the property and Melanie was prompt and straightforward in her emails. I can recommend this company for anyone looking to rent :)

I found out about Julius and the team through Open Rent, coming from a very problematic situation with my last landlord under a private contract.

From the start, the experience with the Live-in team was the exact opposite. Every part of the agreement is well explained, every facet well documented and transparently discussed by Julius/anyone in the team. But...this is pretty standard stuff. What happened when things went wrong?

Well, they got sorted in a timely fashion with minimum possible inconvenience for the tenants. Definitely more than can be said for any other landlord(s) I've had experience with in London.

In sum, I can't recommend Julius and the team enough. If you're looking for a modern, safe and reputable landlord - look no further, give the team a call.
