Shocking & Appalling Service from a Local Sheffield Company

I would like to warn potential customers of Lizzy P’s Cleaning Agency about my appalling experience with this Sheffield based company. Please also read other negative feedback comments left by other customers on google and youtube which I can absolutely guarantee are not in the least bit exaggerated.

Elizabeth Paulett (the owner of Lizzy P’s Cleaning Agency) was instructed to carry out an End of Tenancy, 4 hour clean on a Sheffield property at the price of £80.00. Included in the clean, amongst other things, were a fridge and oven clean, full hoovering of all carpets, cleaning of tiled areas, mirrors, sink etc. etc.

The oven was so greasy I could run my finger through it. The fridge had pieces of old food stuck inside and the trays had not been cleaned out. The carpets had not been vacuumed. The sink and cupboards had not been cleaned. The list goes on, and on, and on..........

I called the company to complain. They grudgingly refunded £20 but refused to come and and view the problem areas and also refused to come and re-clean the property. This left me in a position where I had to take time off work to go and clean the property myself. When I told the company I would be taking them to the small claim courts for the remaining £60.00, I received an email from Elizabeth Paulett who replied with a single line “Small claims will laugh in your face, you stupid cow”.

I really don’t think I need to add anything further apart from I will be reporting Lizzy P’s Cleaning Agency to Trading Standards and I will pursue this through the small claims court, whether I lose, or not.
