After 5 months of owning the car, that we paid 24k for it is only 4 years old with very little mileage , we broke down and was told that the mechatronics had gone in the gearbox, this was a total of £2640, the garage LKC wanted nothing to do with it, the warranty only covers £2000 which we paid direct to the garage (not LKC) that fixed our car, we are still waiting for the £2000 back 2 months later from evolution warranties who LKC use who have also been no help whatsoever. To top this off when we bought the car, we went to drive away the battery was flat, we were told that it’s because the mechanic will have had everything on when he was doing the final check over, little did we know it was the battery that was knackered so we have also had to replace this! So after 6 months of owning the car we are already 3k out of pocket. I haven’t had any response to my email that I sent them about the issues and at this point I have given up. I’ve been without my car longer than with it since it was purchased. Don’t expect any after care once you have purchased.

Company sell cars much higher than their value. Total rip offs. Avoid. Customer service appalling

On top of my 2 other reviews I have more bad news to report. Tonight the car broke down, all electrical systems failed. I was stuck for 2 hours until my wife bought a new battery. I had to change it myself which was difficult. Now I need to take it to an Audi dealer for a diagnostic as there are still multiple faults!!! I bought the car for over £36000 , spent nearly £3000 get it fixed and im not sure what this diagnostic will find. I am supposed to be driving on holiday in 4 days with hotel booked. Looks like I will need to cancel. I will also lose time at work trying to get the car sorted. Before you buy anything from these cowboys- pay for a full inspection as they may sell you banger. To say im angry with them is a complete understatement!!!!!!!!!

Have to say Jason has the patience of a saint with nothing being to much trouble,Being in Sales myself i can confirm i am probably not the easiest person to deal with as my standards/expectations are very high in all honesty,Jason deals with everything with a smile and was very professional,Had a small issue just a couple of days after delivery but this is now being sorted so all good !!

I bought a Skoda Superb 2020 from them a few days ago. Customer service at the highest level.
The entire finance process was handled very quickly and efficiently.
The car looked like new after a full cleaning. Additionally, 12 months of free warranty and 12 months of MOT.
The car after a full service performed by LKC.
Additionally, for a test drive, the car had a fuel resertion when picking up half a tank of fuel.
A positive surprise.

DO NOT BUY!!

They tamper with cars for a sale and when faults arise (happening with A DAY!) they take no blame. Once you buy, your screwed.

DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WISH TO THROW AWAY THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF POUNDS!!

They love to buy accident damaged cars, attempt to 're-do' them up and sell for high profit.

Court case pending. PS - We have all the evidence to back up my HONEST claims. Unlike this very DISHONEST DISGUSTING COMPANY!!!

I purchased a VW Polo through LKC in July 2023, around 6 months ago. They were very helpful throughout the whole process, as I has previously had a bad experience with another dealership and was awaiting a refund for this vehicle. All staff I had contact with were friendly and approachable, did not attempt to sell me any unnecessary extras, and gave me the same treatment as though I was purchasing one of their higher end cars. They were understanding, answered all questions asked of them, and supported me throughout the whole process. The car was prepped in the same manner as all other vehicles they have, and 6 months later and the car is amazing, I have had no issues. I am very happy with the service I received as well as the vehicle I purchased. They have also been great with contact following my purchase, such as questions I had regarding when the timing belt had last been changed - they connected me with their garage who provided me with plenty of information on previous work done to the car. 10/10 service and would 100% return to them when I am in need of a new car!

If you don't want to finish in mental health hospital like me avoid this company! Bought a car in November, after 7 weeks breakdown, estimated cost in bmw service 7300. No solution after month. Same bull*hit on the phone (if they want to answer your call). Many stories about another temporary car and then I've been told to pick up from garage. Of course without a car i have opportunity to pick up another one 160 miles away and then drop them off back after couple days. How ridiculous it is! If you don't want to lose your money and health stay away from this company!!!!

Buying a used car is never a worry free experience especially when you are spending a fair amount of money. My experience with LKC was great, very happy with the sale and the way it was conducted. But?? What happens if the car doesn’t work out as planned? Quite scary, but my car did develop faults? What have I bought? Is it going to cost me more money etc…. Well, this is where I can not praise and thank LKC motors enough (particularly Darryl and Ian) I did develop faults but they just sorted everything out, never had to worry about anything, they even loaned me a car so as I could still conduct my own business affairs. I know that buying a used car is always a bit daunting and particularly bad if things go wrong but I can not rate LKC higher than the top marks as I got the overall impression that they will do everything for the customer to give them the best after sale service and strangely as it sounds, it wasn’t all about the money, very rare in today’s world? Thank you LKC!

Another great experience with Tom from saucing a vehicle to my spec at a good price, fair trade in. It’s always a pleasure. 9th vehicle from LKC would not go anywhere else
