LMI ist ein solider Prop Trading Anbieter, der auszahlt! LMI is a reliable prop trading firm that pays out!

***********

In my personal experience, LMI is one of the few prop trading firms that consistently pay out.

No overly strict rules—it feels almost like trading with your own capital.

One advantage is the End of Day (EOD) drawdown, which has been in place from the very beginning.

And if things aren’t going well in the PA (Performance Account)—especially as a beginner—you can repeat the qualification phase for another month at no cost.

Plus, the support team is fast, friendly, and helpful.

LMI also values traders who trade solidly and prudently (risk management).

Then nothing stands in the way of a payout.

VOLFIX since Oct.2022 & LMI since Jan.2025

I have been with LMI (Liberty Market Investment) for quite some time now and I trade there using the VolFix.net platform. My experience so far has been consistently positive.

For me personally, platform stability is the most important factor.
Whether on iPhone, iPad, or MacBook (while many other solutions are heavily Windows-focused), execution is fast and reliable — even with weaker internet connections. Placing, adjusting, or cancelling orders works without delays. I have experienced this very differently with other prop firms and connections (for example via RTrader/Rithmic), where execution and stability were clearly worse.

Support is another big plus.
I’ve had several questions and minor issues — both technical and related to trades or payouts — and almost always received a reply within minutes. Communication is friendly, direct, and solution-oriented.

Most importantly:
If you follow the rules, payouts are actually processed. I’ve received payouts myself and I also know other traders with larger payouts where everything worked smoothly.

What I also like:
- No hidden fees
- Fair pricing structure
- Solid partner ecosystem and infrastructure
- Overall very stable technical setup

One thing that could be improved in my opinion:
It would be great if there were more than one payout window per week (for example multiple payout days). That would increase flexibility for traders.

PS: I see some reviews complaining about the 7:1 rule. From my own experience, the rules are not complicated — you just need to follow them.
I once had a payout(1.1K) rejected under the old 5:1 rule because I forgot about it. That was my mistake, not LMI’s. Since then I’ve had multiple payouts above 2.5k without issues.
You can always check whether you violated a rule, and if you are unsure, just contact support — they really help. I once sent screenshots of my trades because I thought I might have broken the rule, and within 15 minutes they reassured me everything was fine as long as it’s not extreme or repeated. Obviously if ratios get excessive (like 25:1, 60:1, etc.), it’s clear why payouts would be rejected.

I’m not a fanboy of any prop firm — I simply stay where platform, support, and payouts work reliably.

Overall, LMI is currently one of the most reliable and trader-friendly prop firms in the market for me. I plan to stay and can recommend them based on my experience so far.

A worthy company and an amazing platform

Hello, everyone! I withdrew my first money from my funded account! This is my first significant victory over the financial markets! Yes, $1,000+ isn't a huge amount, but I earned it

Thanks to LMI support for explaining the many rules) it turned out to be not as scary as I thought at the beginning. Thanks to the VolFix team (if you're reading this) for helping me set up the platform and for valuable trading insights!

I recommend to try LMI, fellow traders. Key advantages: responsive support, a great VolFix platform to work with (no need to connect any gateways), affordable cost, regular promo codes.

Among the disadvantages: withdrawals take longer than I would like, the rules are not very simple, and feedback is provided via email (although the last two points are common to almost all platforms, so they may not be considered as disadvantages, just common practice)

Good luck with your trading!

Super Propfirm

Never had an issue with this company. They have rules you have to be aware. 7:1 rule can be a bit tricky but it's important for the company to protect itself against gamblers.

No payout denied yet, so don't complain, just trade according to their rules!

I think best company out there is you are familiar with volfix.
And you can set risksettings in volfix like nowhere else!

Thanks LMI!

Payment denied.

Payment denied.

It seems that the company is doing everything possible to avoid paying money to traders. Namely, it constantly comes up with ridiculous rules, hiding behind good intentions.

The most idiotic rule is The 7:1 Risk-Reward Ratio Rule. They refused to pay out $1,700 because one trade was closed at +$6.25 with a drawdown of $160. According to the company's logic, I did not manage my risks correctly. But if I had closed this trade with a result of -$160 or even -$260, everything would have been fine.

I advise you to read their full rules on the website several times. In short, the company can refuse to pay for any reason.

It's just a pity for the time and money spent on paying for selections.

Reply from Liberty Market Investment

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience - and we’re genuinely sorry this payout decision felt frustrating.

That said, we reviewed your payout request and confirmed it was declined due to a violation of the 7:1 Risk-Reward Ratio Rule on one of the trades referenced in your review.

These conditions are published in advance and apply to every trader equally. We strongly encourage all traders to review the withdrawal requirements before submitting a payout request to avoid situations like this. You can find the full withdrawal rules here:

If you’d like, please contact our support team with your account details / payout request reference, and we’ll gladly clarify the exact trade(s) that caused the denial and how the rule was applied in your case.

LMI trade rejects withdrawals for vague reasons

Hi.

I've purchased a challenge for $50k in September, completed it and received a funded account of the same amount.

There, I earned $2900 in a 15 days period, with a success rate of around 80% (13 days out of 15 were profitable). I never allowed a single trade to exceed $100-150, and my average profitable trading day was around $380.

I've requested a 50% payout (as per rules), and this request was rejected.

My jaw dropped when I received this message:

"Hi,
We are writing to inform you that your payout request has been updated to Rejected.

Request Details:
- Account Number: F6611404-2
- Requested Amount: 1455 USD

Reason for Rejection:
Risk-to-Reward Ratio 62:1, Allowed 7:1"

What was the point?

that was due to one trade that was in loss for $64 (yes, sixty four dollars), that got into profit, I protected it to breakeven, and closed it with a $3 profit as a result.

That was considered as a violation of their rules and a formal reason to reject the withdrawal.

I know about "7:1" rule (which I think, is ridiculous), but I thought it was about trades that were intentionally closed with small profits and big drawdowns.

Here, we are talking about PROTECTING their capital by putting stop-loss to breakeven.

My results are on the table. It's proven that such capital protection leads to smoothed equity curve and account growth.

Nevertheless, they use this loophole to reject withdrawals.

The average withdrawal time before that (I used to have a small account there couple of years ago) iwas around 10 days (in my previous experience), now this...

I suppose that the company experiences serious financial problems and tries to solve them by throwing traders out.

Well... point taken.

The platform is good, became better lately, but..

I've been trading with LMI for a while now, and while their trading platform itself is solid — smooth execution, good tools, and reliable access — there are some structural issues in the withdrawal system that traders need to be aware of before committing serious time or capital.

The Withdrawal Problem

One major issue lies in how difficult it is to withdraw your full profits. The process is gated by two withdrawal levels with restrictive conditions:

Level 1 only allows you to withdraw 50% of your available profits, even if you’ve met all trading goals.

Level 2, while offering up to 100% withdrawal, requires you to accumulate 30 Win Days, and each request still needs 5 more Win Days + Consistency Rule afterward.

Even worse, after every withdrawal, your next request is capped at 2× the profit made since the last one, regardless of how much is available.

What this means in practice is that unless you plan your withdrawals perfectly, you might have $8,000 in your account but still only be allowed to withdraw $1,500 due to the formula — which can be extremely frustrating, especially when you're trying to maintain a safe cushion in the account (like $3,000) and follow the rules.

Rule Changes Without Notice

Another critical issue is the lack of transparency in rule updates. For example, LMI recently removed the “minimum trading days” requirement and replaced it with “Win Days” only — without clear communication to traders. This can lead to unnecessary disqualifications or failed withdrawal requests simply because the trader didn’t notice a backend change in criteria.

Platforms handling real money and real effort from disciplined traders should prioritize clarity and consistency in their rulebook, and notify users clearly when major changes are made.

The Good Side

To be fair, the actual trading experience is very good. The platform is responsive, stable, and offers the key functionalities needed for short- and long-term strategies. I’ve never had an issue with trade execution or charting tools. For that, they deserve recognition.

Seriously Underrated Futures Prop Firm! Passed First Account! Waiting for Funded Session.

Passed my first 30k small qualification session in a few days of trading. I reached out to support for the documents to get to the funded session and that is progressing nicely. Volfix is the only platform you can trade with LMI, but it has some very good features and great tutorials on Youtube. Just bought a 300k account with the promo, and hope to pass that in the next few weeks. Looking forward to my trading journey with LMI!

It is one of the leading companies in…

It is one of the leading companies in the industry, with excellent staff, which develops from their words and gives traders the opportunity to obtain financing, while there are no complaints, the partners are developing the company well. All payments are on time.
