Today was our first visit to a loaf store and we were so impressed. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed, we were offered a drink and we were properly looked after. There was no pushiness, just calm, helpful advice and being shown around. We placed the order, and can’t wait to see our new sofa! Thank you Ella, you deserve ten stars!

I visited the Loaf Shack in Battersea on Sunday and was assisted by Liam V.
He is a credit to the company.
I came in to look at sofa beds with the intention of only viewing the Squisheroo. Liam listened to what I was looking for, showed me how the sofa bed works and was helpful in suggesting fabrics. As a consequence of his assistance, and being able to try out the different sofas in the Shack I have changed my original choice to another sofa bed with greater back support, and my original colour way and fabric. I came away feeling far more confident in my intended purchase. Without Liam’s help I would have missed the subtle differences of each sofa design and not considered a different colour way and fabric. Thank you, customer service par excellence!

We visited the Battersea store twice to try out a sofa we were interested in - Ella was working on both occasions and was incredibly helpful to us without being at all overwhelming or ‘hovering’. She talked us through everything we needed to know regarding materials, warranty etc and when we returned she set up a quote for us with a delivery discount! Could not reccomend her service enough :)

We had such an amazing experience at the Loaf Battersea showroom. Ella was absolutely fantastic, she was so involved and genuinely happy to help, she answered every single question I had. Ella even offered us a lovely cold bottle of water, which was a lifesaver because we were parched by the time we arrived.

The assistant manager, (sorry didn’t get her name) was also very helpful, both of them were so knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made the whole visit feel easy, welcoming, and enjoyable. Honestly, the service was outstanding, I am not even exaggerating.

We were so impressed that we will be coming back this week to place our sofa order. The whole experience made the decision effortless. I just hope the delivery and after service is as good.

The staff in Chelmsford were very helpful and answered all my queries. I have made a purchase but needed to order 2 items to choose between as not able to see only on website. I understand not everything can be in each shop but when phoned central number , suggesting I travel for over 200 miles to see 2 small footstools was not practical.
Hence only 3 stars

Well thought out store layout makes it easier to wander around, check different swatches etc. Our kids were whisked off to the cinema room which gave us some time to browse uninterrupted. And the staff checked in with us but let us get on with things without hassling us, and then were super helpful when we asked questions.

What a wonderful store. Friendly and helpful staff in a lovely environment. What’s not to like?

We ordered our sofa on the 25th February this year and it’s now the coming towards the end of June - nearly 17 weeks we have waited and we have not received a single update! At the Loaf store in Battersea we were told the turn around time was 6 to 8 weeks maximum.

After reaching out to Loaf on the 5th May we were told there is a ‘slight delay’ and they will ‘keep us up to date’ but have heard nothing since! The whole sofa was all paid for upfront in February. Terrible customer service and if we had know we would have ordered a sofa elsewhere but we have waited this long now and paid for it!! We feel very let down and disappointed. Will not be recommending.

Ella and Seven deserve recognition for the exceptional customer service they provided today.

I visited the store today with my dad, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles, genuine enthusiasm, and a willingness to help. I had a particularly difficult request, yet both Ella and Seven were incredibly patient, attentive, and determined to find the best solution.

As someone who struggles with anxiety and often finds it difficult to speak up for myself or communicate exactly what I need, their kindness and understanding made a huge difference. They created an environment where I felt comfortable, listened to, and valued as a customer.

What stood out most was that their outstanding service wasn’t reserved just for us, and great knowledge of products (I learnt so much from them both) Throughout our visit, we watched them treat every customer who entered the store with the same level of care, professionalism, and positivity.

They genuinely made our shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free, and my dad and I left feeling incredibly grateful for the way we had been treated. Employees like Ella and Seven are a real asset to Loaf, and I believe they deserve to be recognised for the positive impact they have on customers.

We’ve just bought a sofa at the Battersea loaf shack and we couldn’t be more satisfied. Liam was particularly attentive and relaxed, even though we came with our two little ones. We had the opportunity to try very different types of sofas and different fabrics. What convinced us was the perks that the sofas come with. Really looking forward to our delivery!

No problem at all with the products we bought which are great quality. The instore experience too was top notch, with helpful attentive staff making our transactions very pleasant. The whole thing falls down with your delivery service though. We are still waiting to receive our order in full, now two months after paying for the items and paying extra for delivery! We have several times had to chase up Loaf to trace the whereabouts of our items. We have been told several times delivery was attempted but nobody was in (which a doorbell camera and someone at home all day can prove is patently untrue), and it is all time consuming, stressful, and frustrating. Ultimately it stops me from shopping with Loaf again. I cannot understand why Loaf bother with a Trustpilot review system when clearly no notice has been taken of the numerous complaints online for all to see about your poor delivery service...I wish I had read them before ordering! It must be damaging to your brand? Unsatisfied customer here, still waiting...

The atmosphere in this store is friendly and welcoming. You’re made to feel at ease by being offered refreshments and this instantly makes you feel valued. The loafers, especially Ella was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and represented Loaf as a brand impeccably. The help given was precise, easy to understand and process. It was not overwhelming. The movie room, the board games and colouring sheets for children as well as the light refreshments including popcorn are welcome attractions too. If you want a relaxing, helpful and enjoyable experience when you’re considering a new piece of furniture for you’re home, I strongly recommend Loaf. Thanks guys!

Liam and the team at Loaf were absolutely fantastic. We walked in undecided on which sofa we would get and walked out with a sofa of our dreams. The team were attentive considerate to us requirements and not pushy to ultimately get us to the sofa that we needed. Thanks to them all for their fantastic work.
