I would have given a 5 star review if the shoe tree didn't come with a splinter. Yes, I was disappointed because of the splinter. The shoe tree came in a beautiful box and the package was top notch and you could smell the cedar wood straight out of the box. Sadly, as soon as I took the shoe tree out, and there it was, a tiny splinter on one of the shoe tree. Yes, I pulled it apart and I still used it. It fitted my shoe well and my shoe was not from Loake.
