The G width is perfect for wider feet or thicker socks. They look and smell beautifull, creaking reassuringly when worn. Worth every penny.

BEWARE: The colour in the pictures on the Loake website is *nothing* like to what it is in person. The picture online looks lovely, in reality they're more red than they are brown! And just look at that aggressive toe burnishing - quite literally the worst burnishing job I have ever seen. Who in the factory, made the decision to do that? When I purchased boots that show VERY subtle burnishing in the product pictures. How these passed Quality Control, I have no idea. To top it off, I sent an email to Loake with no reply.

Arrived with a damaged welt and scratched uppers. Either substandard and missed in quality control or factory seconds. Not what I would expect from this brand.
