These fit true to size, although slightly longer comparable makes. They are a comfortable lightweight work shoe. although like most Loakes they rub the top of my toe 'knuckle' until broken in - must be the shape of my feet!! It will be interesting to see how the new style sole wears compared to the usual Dainette rubber sole. I prefer the new one for now. The black insole makes them look cheap - a nice natural leather insole would be far more stylish. Considering they are made in India they are not good value.
