My experience at my local World Finance office in North Charleston has always been GREAT!!! Miss Carrie is awesome. Makes you feel at home when you go there. She also decorates the office for every occasion which means A LOT!!! IT SHOWS SHE CARES AND HAS PASSION FOR WHAT SHE DOES!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

Miranda and Jennifer are the best at world finance in Ada!! They are friendly, professional and work hard to get you what you need!! World Finace is the place to go!!

WE GOT A LOAN THROUGH THEM THEY HAD ALREADY DONE A HARD CREDIT CHECK THEN THEY JUST DONE ANOTHER ONE WHEN I HAVE NOT PAID THE LOAN OFF YET AND DIDN'T REAPPLY FOR ANY NEW LOAN THEY HAVE DROPPED MY EXPERIAN SCORE 26 POINTS. I'M TRYING TO GET A USDA LOAN AND THEY ARE MESSING UP MY CHANCES

The branch in Moline IL is very knowledgeable and friendly. My favorite person there is Kristie. So friendly and helps me most of the time. They get you approved and funded in a timely fashion.

November 2024, I got a $400 loan to help build my credit. It was for 7 monthly payments. I never received any papers regarding my loan, even though I asked for them. The total payoff was $543. I made my first payment in full and on time, the next day I tried to pay the loan off completely. The manager and the corporate office both told me no I can't pay it off early unless I agreed to still pay the remaining 6 months interest. Every second payment the manager forced me to renew even if I didn't want to. I have payed them over $800 for a $400 loan. Corporate office was extremely rude, always lying to me about everything. I received a call from the district manager and he refused to talk to me about any of my concerns and instead talked to me about other peoples accounts. The manager at the store would tell me about other peoples accounts also including their names, how much money they borrowed, where they worked and more every single time I went to make a payment. I also received a call from the VP regional manager but I missed the call and I called him back and he never returned my calls and it's been over a month now. And now corporate office is trying to cover their mistakes and ignore the problem. Corporate has blocked my number, claims to have tried calling me several times ( which never happened) and are refusing to discuss or resolve any of my concerns.

The process was fast and easy. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, polite and helpful!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I have to say Jason and Ronda at World Finance in Lamar definitely deserve one. They’re both absolutely amazing to work with! From the moment I walked in, they made me feel welcome and treated me like more than just a customer. Jason took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood all my options, and Ronda went above and beyond to make the whole process smooth and stress-free. You can really tell they care about helping people, not just doing their jobs. It’s hard to find that kind of service anymore. If you ever need help with a loan, this is 100% the place to go—they’ll take great care of you! I just posted this on Google Reviews, but I feel like it deserves to be shared even more—Jason and Ronda are truly wonderful people.

They are awful to deal with. I filed bankruptcy but had a reaffirmation agreement with them still making payments but will not give me my balance without going thru my lawyer which his job is done. Did have 1 nice lady I dealt with she did give me the information and had everything squared away to where she said I wouldn't have a problem calling and checking on balance. Boy was she wrong .

This place was friendly they listened to my needs and were very professional and their interests rates are fair better the any other loan company out there.

This review is specifically about the World Finance branch in Greenville, Alabama. I recieved a pre-approval loan offer in the mail from World Finance and visited the branch in person to apply for the loan. A few hours after I left, I was told on the phone by the manager named "Fonda" that I was approved, and she told me to bring 2 forms of ID and my latest check stub. She told me that was all I needed. Upon returning to the branch however, she was acting strange when going over my check stub. She still ran my information through the system, but just at the end before she funded my loan, she demanded that I provide another check stub from before this one, and asked me for the phone number to my employer. I told her I couldn't get another check stub for her until Monday morning because it was past 5:30 on a Friday and our HR was closed for the weekend, but I happily gave her my supervisor's name and number. But when she couldn't get them to answer, she then demanded I either show her my last direct deposit or she couldn't fund my loan. I tried to login to my banking app but as luck would have it, they were doing maintenance right as I tried to login. So "Fonda" told me there was nothing else she could do unless I could magically get my supervisor to answer her calls when they probably weren't even at the office anymore. I was confused - like, how are you going to tell me I'm APPROVED for the loan, then tell me all that I needed was a check stub and 2 forms of ID (which I provided) just to change your mind last second because you feel weird? It's literally just a 500 dollar loan that I planned to pay back within 2 weeks to build my credit up. It's also worth mentioning I saw 2 other customers in the office at the same time as me, and NEITHER of them had their check stubs questioned. I'm not the most sociable person, and maybe I seemed off at first, but if I provide what you asked me for and you just go back on your offer because your "gut tells you to", you clearly shouldn't be in the loan business. You just lost what could've been a long-term customer, and if this "Fonda" lady continues to run this World Finance branch then I'll be surprised if their ratings don't tank. They only seem to have competent staff at other branches across the country.

Just now, when my husband was speaking with a loan rep. She asked a question about what was the loan for, my husband told her to pay bills, she then asks what bills do we need to pay, why is that even important to know what bills we need to pay. Then she says that's what they're supposed to ask. If it was said that bills needed to be paid then that's what you need to know.

This is a real good place to get a loan the people is polite and go out of their way to help you
