I paid for and ordered small fish chips and Curry sauce . They forgot to give curry sauce, I had to repay again and almost missed my train due to this error. The staff were rude and disorganised wouldn’t recommend
Really looking forward to a crab mornay only to be served a a shell with zero meat a lot of water & a plastic covering of burnt cheese but the chips were good!! Insult to injury they couldn’t serve coffee as the machine had broken! Total disaster.
Visited Lobsterpot Nottingham for the first time this year for my girlfriends 39th Birthday and again a lovely evening spent in nice surroundings and absolutely fantastic food plus the completely relaxed atmosphere

The food is exquisite, the prices reasonable, the atmosphere relaxed and intimate, and the customer service is second to none. I appreciated how the wait-staff were attentive, but not suffocating – and they were incredibly friendly. The menu is extensive; we opted for the degustation menu which was around seven courses. Courses of perfectly cooked, fresh seafood that would be the envy of any posh nosh establishment in London. My partner and I were there for a lovely dinner together, there was a family party, there were other couples… and we all peacefully coexisted. Lovely ambiance.
