Disadvantages of site:
1) Site: Sometimes I faced some bugs. LocalCryptos converted my BTC number wrongly, and show wrong amount of local currency I have.
2) Customer service: My account has been suspended by automatic security measures. The support team has reviewed my case and determined that the suspension should remain. Support team can't reveal why my account got suspended (but they claim I can still have access for my non-custodial wallet);
3) I met some scammers on that site;

LocalCryptos made buying BTC an easy and enjoyable experience. All of the other sites selling BTC seemed like an absolute frustrating nightmare! I was dreading jumping through all of the hoops the others provided. But this peer-to-peer option was great! This is the ONLY site I will deal with in the future.

I was randomly suspended without any contact or reason like others after 2 and a half years of trading with 100% positive feedback, Support is useless and have not replied to my tickets nearly month later, what a joke. can you reply ticket no. is 29294

This site is horrible. It allows multiple thieves on here that steal your money. They reverse their payments and then get banned from the site so you can’t contact them again. I tried to get assistance with a refund but no luck.

I just get scammed by seller and the website close the case favor the scammer.
Seller says transfer through friend and family and the fund go through his account and he’s get limited by PayPal.
the money is gone from my account but I didn’t get and tokens and the page close the case. I lost my money

After 2 years of building my reputation on this platform with massive amounts of trade volume and 100% feedback, their system automatically “flagged” my account and the decisions to prevent me from trading anymore is final. No explanation and no reason, simply out of nowhere.

I can’t tell you how many times I opened a contract based on the terms noted and never heard back for the other party.

What do you guys do with feedback I and other users leave when canceling a trade? Do you reach out to individuals with offers that are cancelled for non-response?

Support is useless. Whenever you have an issue where you require an arbitrator to fix a dispute it can take up to weeks. They'll give you that generic response of "We're sorry bla bla..", it's not a bad platform overall but their support system will be the reason people will move away from them, hope they do so cause way too many are losing money because of this.

I Have Good Experience With them but after winning the $250 amazon Gift Voucher upto now haven't received it, tried texting support got a response and they went silent. Live Chart is better

Full of scammers, thieves, the platform provides no meaningful support, but instead actively favors the criminals.
Avoid LocalCryptos!!!

I will briefly tell my experience on LocalCryptos.com.
In short, I tried to buy BTC from a user called "majorbtc" and I paid him using paypal. Soon after that, the seller told me he got banned from paypal, so he couldn't access his account anymore.
Obviously that's not my fault, so I asked him to release BTC from escrow. But he refused.

So I opened a dispute and called localcryptos arbitrator. After more than 2 weeks, the platform didn't solve the issue, just replied with stupid and meaningless posts.
They offer no protection against scammers, so it is recommended to avoid this platform.

Don't get fooled by the positive reviews because people got actively incentivized to leave positive reviews, as stated by Trustpilot itself.
