Having a local team makes all the difference! I always felt like the folks at Local Mortgage were working for me - I could get in touch with them whenever I needed and they kept my process moving along smoothly the entire time.

As first time home buyers we were pretty nervous going into the mortgage process, but Derek made everything a lot easier. He answered all of our questions in a way that was easy to understand and was always quick to respond when we reached out requesting quotes on homes we were interested in. Once we found the house we loved, the loan process moved super quickly and we ended up with a great rate!

Derek definitely made what could have been a stressful process feel simple and manageable. We really appreciated his help and would definitely recommend working with him.

I found the Local Mortgage office as I was walking out of Memphis Business Journal’s office. I decided to take a picture of the contact information to have “just in case” I ever needed it. A week or so later, I asked my real estate agent if she had heard of Local Mortgage and she had nothing but great things to say about Travis and Chase as she had worked with them 2 or 3 times prior. After that conversation, I finally reached out…initially just to get information. Travis ended up having a 35 minute phone call with me giving me information about Local Mortgage, how their process works, the mortgage lending process in general and how Local Mortgage is able to offer the best rates. He did all that BEFORE I even submitted any of my information to be pre-approved to become a client. I contacted Travis again a few weeks later to request a mortgage quote… again BEFORE I even submitted my information or became an official client. I still wasn’t ready to proceed at that time. About 2 months later when I was ready to proceed with submitting an offer on a house, I contacted Travis to provide a quote. He provided yet another quote … again BEFORE I provided any of my documentation to get pre-approved. At that time, I was ready to proceed with placing and offer on a home and submitted all of my documentation. Travis was super patient with me throughout the entire process from the very first phone call to closing day. I did not feel an ounce of pressure to proceed with using his company. Chase was responsible for gathering all of my documentation and getting me to the closing finish line. They were both helpful and super knowledgeable and just genuinely happy that I was able to get the home that I wanted. I would recommend them a million times over. Not only did they treat me very well, with care and patience but they DID in fact have the best rates. Please contact them today for your mortgage needs.

Very good rates, very honest, and I've done three mortgages with them. They even honored a verbal/email agreement to give me a free refinance if rates fell. I always thought to myself "I never got that in a contract" and figured "maybe they will duck on that promise" but they delivered on the promise even though they didn't necessarily make much if anything on that refinance. WOW!

What a great experience! Best rate I could get and these guys were on top of it all the way! Very professional and well organized. It was so easy to get everything uploaded and signed and even the notary came to me for the in person signing! This happened at lightning speed and I couldn't be happier! I am glad they were recommended to me and I can see why he went through them for several mortgage closings! I'll be happy to work with them in the future as well!

As a first time homebuyer, I had a great experience with Local Mortgage. Everything was smooth and I didn't have to do much on my part besides provide documents. Everyone was kind and always answered the phone, which is rare nowadays. I was able to get great rates as well. I would definitely recommend this company and will do business with them again.
