I just opened my box from local roots, And I had to stop everything to write this. You know when you buy something online. It's ok. Well this wasn't it.From the second I saw the box. I could actually tell. That someone put their heart and soul in this and was thinking of me. The cheese straws is to die for, They have the perfect, fresh crunch and they just melt in your mouth.cheesy . I finished the whole packet, before I even realized it. The chocolate cookie. If you a chocolate lover like myself. You would understand. It is so rich and chocolatey. It is pure indulgence .mmm. Everything in the box is a mouth watering experience.This box is a winner. Awesome experience
The entire process from purchase to delivery was seamless. I was really impressed with how quickly I received my snack box. The packaging was gorgeous and my kids enjoyed the Unboxing experience.
I loved the thoughtful, personalized touches and really enjoyed reading the stories from the suppliers. It just made me feel a sense of Ubuntu.
Then the actual products were truly amazing. The brownies were my favourite! The biltong had some kick, so I passed it along to my husband and I'm still enjoying the muesli. The cheese sticks disappeared in minutes. But yes I loved it.
I would prefer more savory items or a different sweet option, since both were chocolate (I love chocolate but caramel is also good), so I'd love to see more variety from that point of view in the next box. Overall, a great experience.
