For some time

For some time, I debated whether to share my thoughts on this organization, as I previously enjoyed participating in their leagues. Unfortunately, my recent experience left me uneasy. At the start of the last league, I sustained an injury that prevented me from playing, and I promptly informed everyone involved. Despite this, one player was overly eager for me to play, mistakenly believing there was an understanding to proceed with the match. When I didn't attend, he bombarded me with extremely abusive messages. I reported this situation to the league managers and WhatsApp. The league administrators, however, recorded a walkover against me and merely reminded the other player to remain civil, despite the heavy use of profanity in his messages. WhatsApp, on the other hand, took significant action by blocking the player and addressing the policy violation on his account. In light of these events, I cannot endorse this league and have decided not to participate there again.

Disappointing

Disappointing! Joined a league of 12 players, though some withdrew. I reached out to the remaining participants about our games, but no responses were received despite multiple emails. Paid £18 for the chance to play 12 games, yet only managed to participate in one, which was not worth it. It seems the league prefers regulars, making newcomers feel unwelcome. If someone opts out of playing, there's no consequence, which I find unfair. The format should be revised to remove participants who fail to communicate. Overall, it felt like a waste of both time and money.

Very poor

Very poor! Started the league with 12 people ok some pulled out, I contacted the others regarding our matches, nothing! keep emailing........I paid £18 for 12 matches I get one match! even that was a waste of time.
I think the leagues like playing the same people evey month and new people joining are not welcome, if you don't want to play someone as in my case then its no problem you don't get penalised.
I think the format needs to change people that don't contact you should be thrown out!
for me a waste of time and money!

I've been wondering whether to leave a review about this organisation for a while, as I used to enjoy playing the leagues. However, I've just not been comfortable after my last experience. I was injured at the start of the last League and was unable to play. I informed all league members of that. One player was very keen to player despite my injury. He apparently thought we had agreed to play (I'm still unsure how) and he sent me since very abusive messages when I didn't show up. I raised the matter with the league organisers and WhatsApp. The league organisers registered a walkover against me and told me that they had reminded the other player 'to remain polite and courteous at all times' (these messages was laden with swear words). WhatsApp blocked the player and took issue with their account for breach of policy (or so they told me that they took it that seriously). So overall, I can't recommend this league and I won't go back to play there.
